Account Resolution Corporation is the collections outsourcing company based in St. Louis, Missouri.  Their tactics are unethical and dishonest.

I didn't answer it but they called on my cell, i knew it was no one i knew b/c they didn't leave me a message, so i wasn't worried about then i  decide to look this number up and this is what i have found out, im glad i didn't answer it.

Received a call on my cell phone number that I have had since I started college when I was 18 (I'm 29 this year, so yeah 10 years worth of the same number) asking for someone named Terri (no last name).  When I advised the woman that she had the wrong number she became very rude and barked my phone number back at me.  I was like, yes that is correct good for you, but this is "my last name" residence (my cell is my home phone, always has been).  I don't even know anyone named Terri.  She sighed an exasperated and annoyed sigh and hung up on me.  Real professional let me tell you.

i totally agree! they are collecting on a bill that was handed to them from a medical hospital (the Financial aid at that hospital said it was covered) and then i was harrased at home/cell phone/ work by these people! They have refused my payments 3 times! they have told me if i cant pay in full then they would take me to court. finally i told them to. when i stated they had refused partial payments they said they would never do so. They are dirty underhanded people and no buisness who goes through them can be respected!

scumb bags. called me a few months ago then every few weeks they call back. finally called them back today and some guy gave me attitude. i told him to go [***] himself and said if he calls back im calling the chesterfield police.

You are all ridiculous...ARC is obviously a collection agency.  If you would grow up stop being so lazy and pay your bills you could avoid their phone calls and probably the other 20 a day you are getting from the rest of your creditors...Get a job and pay your bills

I don't know who you are but how dare you assume that people are dead beats not paying their bills. In this society, people are losing their jobs right and left. It is impossible to remain current on payments in those situations.
Not to mention many times, those calls are misplaced calls. I received one for a $19.00 charge. They did not identify themselves or who they were collecting the fee for. Of course I am not going to pay it, it could be a shame.
Before you start shooting off at the mouth, think about what it would be like for you if you could not pay your bills. Or maybe that is already happening, in which case, are you are getting what you deserve [***] head

Hey Mr./Ms. rich and snobbish [***].  Have you ever lost a loved one, such as a spouse, parent, or sibling and are stuck with their medical bills?  Obviously not.  Or you just in love with yourself and your money? You seem to have had a cushy and/or sheltered life.  Just wait, maybe someday you will be in a unfortunate situation and be in the same boat as people who have lost a loved one due to terminal cancer and/or a job.  Just sit back, and watch your home theater set-up on your designer sofa in your million dollar mansion or maybe go for a ride in your Mercedes or Jag and think about this one.  It seems like you have alot of money.  Maybe you can donate some of this to the American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, AIDS related charities, or a research organization!!!

I just spoke with someone there and he was a complete ass!  And, he had the wrong Jessica!  Of course he doesn't believe me, but HELLO, there are more than one Jessica "my last name" on this planet!  A**HOLE.

I get a call on my cell phone from this number every other day.  No message, nada.  If they can't leave a message, I'm not calling back.  It's all about the minutes!

I ask them to send me information on the bills they have received because i had not received anything from their office and they informed me they send one bill and one bill only. Then he informed me if i got off my lazy butt and paid my bills he would not have to be calling me. Very rude man Paula who hung up on me when i told him he had no right to speak with me that way and said he would mark my account as refused to pay. When i called the number back i got a female Vanessa who said they don't have to provide me with anything and when i ask to speak with a supervisor she informed me they did not have one there. I don't mind paying, matter of fact would be glad to pay. But the hospital failed to file my TWO insurances and says now it is too late that i have to file myself. I have been dealing with this for over a year. Maybe if they had nicer people they might get farther..........

You are correct and no one no matter what they owe should have to listen to that or be called names.

I have spoken to peopel from this number.  They threatened to take me to court even though I offered to pay the bill.  My attorney is now handling everything and they will not be getting paid because they refused to provide me or my attorney with any documentation on the bill.

I am not one to just not pay my bills. I just refuse to simply pay a bill because some ominous voice on my phone said to.  These people are not using fair collection practices and should be stopped.

These guys called my company about a personal bill and told two different employees the basic information about what was going on.  Asked one of my employees if I had informed my staff I was going to shut down the company.  Unbelievable tactics made even worse because I had agreed to pay the bill in the first place.

I just got a call from them cause of an unpaid medical bill the problem is from the company that sent it to them I called the orginal company that I have on record written down with whom I spoke to they said that they would bill my insurance correctly they kept giving my insurance the wrong SSN and I told the hospital ten different times even the head supervisor what my SSN was so my insurance would pay everytime they got it wrong. So now they sent it to this place and this place wont send it back to bill it correctly.

See what happens if you ever become disabled and have to depend on social security you've payed for years but they won't pay you.  Who's the real dead beat.

They call my son every day during school hours.  He has told them repeatedly that he is not the person they are looking for - we just got the number a couple of months ago - he has informed them that he is a minor.  They tell him that if he does not give them his name and personal information, they will continue to call him every day - maybe they are perverts as well!
