Left the following voice message: "That's involved with an investigation which requires your immediate attention we need a return call back from you by the end of the day so we can report you have been cooperative and compliant in this investigation our office number is 646-437-6093 thank you". I called back and it is Preston Scotts and Associates, it rang and I spoke to Robert Johnson. He stated that this about a loan with VIP Loan. He stated that they are taking me to court. He stated he has my SS# and he needed to verify the information. I did not verify my social with him. This has scam written all over it and I told him not to call me again

I received the same voicemail message on 1/29/2021. I will not call back and don’t advise anyone else to fall for this scheme.

Received the following VM: "Hello my name is Rachel we are calling regarding some paperwork posting your name address and Social Security number that's involved with an investigation which requires your immediate attention. Received a call from this number. Stated I was part of some investigation. Called back (shouldn't have), the guy was very rude demanding that I send them $500 or I would be sued and 1300$ would be added. Couldn't confirm debt was mine, was also cursing at me., Used the f word many times claiming I should "pay my effing bills". Trying to collect on account from someone located where I wasn't even living. SCAM.

Got the same call about my ss# I hang up so quick! I right away new it’s a scam!!! Hoping nobody falls for it

I got the same message from “Rachel.”

My phone shows I missed the call yesterday at 8:56am. However, it doesn’t appear on my missed call list, nor do I recall hearing and missing this call at that time. Seems like it went straight to voicemail somehow.

I live in California and this phone number shows “New York, NY” on the caller ID. I don’t know, nor have I had any dealings with anyone in New York.

Mentioning the social security number is so obviously a red flag.

Added the number to my blocked contacts list.

I received this call very unprofessional accusing me of owing a loan which is not true being disrespectful calling me broke [***] , I’m not aware of any loan I’ve never taking a loan ive reported this to BBB

Got the same voicemail as everyone else. I will not be calling back and I just deleted the message

Same call was left on my voicemail. He didn't leave a name or what my "criminal offense" was. It seems like service carriers could track the origin of these calls. Should be illegal and I'm sure is stressing to the elderly.

This was on my VM today when I got home from work.  I immediately reported them to the do not call list and blocked them on my phone.

This number tried to call me today and my spam blocker picked it right up, also I don't set up my voicemail for this reason

Same. And guess what, they called me again. Telling me they would be to my house by Thursday to serve me. If it was already in the court system they wouldn’t be calling. Also do not owe any loans.

This number called a business and I was not able to hear the full recording since we have an automated message that initially picks up.  There was no identifier just a notice that they needed a call back immediately to 646-437-6093 so they could record the information. ????

Same here!  I just checked because of your post.  I had a voicemail but no missed calls.
Same message as above.  Male caller, didn't leave his name. The voicemail kind of picks up mid-sentence.
Definitely a scam and I won't return their call.
