I just received this call from a man with a heavy accent that threatened to take my job if I didn't pay $300 today. I decided to Google this number because he was in a rush to get off the phone when I accused him of a scam. So glad I found this website.

Same thing.  I have received three different calls at work and on my cell phone from these scammers.  Each time they use a different "officer".  I have heard from "Officer Albert" and "Officer Andy" from New Castle Co and "Officer John Smith" from New York.  When I asked where "Officer Albert" was calling from he say "Huh, what?" and told I would be taken to "jail".  I asked them how long it would take them to get here from New York and they again said "What?" and hung up.  I would think that an officer would be more "fluent" with the English language and etiquette as well.

Just got a call from the same guy.  I actually believed him!!  He said I owe money.

I got the same call about I was going to ne arrested if I didn't pay 238 with my credit card I told him I will not give him my card over the phone and he kept say I will be arrested if I didn't pay so he told me to western uion the money officer jack Ford with a heavy accent and he said they had a hold on ss#  and my address I did not pay but he had worried for a min he thinks am going western uion him money on next Friday not I called our attorney general and it is a scam u can not be arrested for a small loan he said it was for cash advance

Received phone call but did not answer. Called back, thick accent man asked for name and number. Claimed a lawsuit is being filed against, and that he was an officer. I then disconnected.

So, I get this call (you guys know the drill serious lawsuit blah blah blah) told me to get a pen I asked because could not understand him what company is this said some name still don't know what he said...I told him no loan my friend never took one. He hung up so for about 45 mins I proceeded to call them back. I had nothing to do. He kept hanging up or acting like he could not hear me. He even called me a mother f'r and told me to stop calling that was fun. Then at the last call he started to talk he said now he was the lead investigator in this I then asked for his supervisor he said that is him...BS he then got all irate again and told me that I was going to be sorry I was going to go to jail and the police were going to come to my work in 2 days and arrest me and I would be fired from my job. Jokes on them I don't work in two days.

Called first acting like he was a police officer and then I asked him if he was calling about student loan and he changed his story. Wanted a check sent directly to him. He called several times being very rude. He had a very thick accent and when you tried calling back, just got his voice mail. This is ridiculous, how can we stop this from happening?

Yes call me 3 times on my cell ph no and said I owe money back from 9/29/2009 for a paydate loan wanted me to settle it today or I will go to jail why doesnt these people leave me alone

A guy called claiming to be law enforcement!!  Definitely was not!

This [***] called me today too.. said i was being investigated and had a law suit against me.. i couldnt understand him, and he got nasty with me so i said "[***] you!!" and hung up.. plus when i called them back, the phone rang and went to a voicemail?? these people need to grow up and get a job!!!!

Received a call a few minutes ago from the same person.  His story to me was that I had a lawsuit filed against me #3137866025 and the company that filed the suit was Cash Advance.  When I asked him, Which state is the suit filed?" (several times) he hung up.

I am getting threatening collection calls from some guy from New York.

I get calls from them all the time, when I catch them in their lie they tell me to go f- my mother. What a real bunch of scum bags!
