I answered the phone by saying "South Carolina State Police, how can I help you?"  Dead silence and they hung up with saying a word.  Hope that dies the trick

This Indian POS  has called my husband at his work several times and says that he has our bank account information, ssn's, address, birthdays and our phone number.  First he was saying that he was from the law office of Shawn Woods, now he's saying Ron Cooper.  He also said that my husband owes them a bunch of money (which is BS) and that a complaint will be filed.  LOL  Nice try dumb ass!!  I just contacted the New York Attorney Generals Office to file a complaint against them today.  They are going to send me a complaint form to fill out and send back.  Please call them as well so we can get this "company" locked away.  Their phone number is 1-800-771-7755.

This number called me repeatedly and said his name was either Tristian or Christian right,,,,said he had some legal matters to discuss,but couldn't really understand him as his accent was quite thick....arabic or indian?? We tried to call them back and they hung up....

David Jones from this number calls my place of employment at least 6 times a day.  I have asked him several times to stop calling me at work.  My supervisor has also asked him to stop calling and he refuses to stop calling.  The speak poor English and appear to be from India.

These guys are pathetic ..... do they not know what impersonating an officer means??? They have called and threatened me and my mom. The sad part is I can hardly understand their pathetic bullsh## lies. What has this world come to?? We all need to take a stand and stop these pieces of sh## once and for all. They are stealing from us,  innocent people.  Call and report them. I am going as far as I can to do what I can to get these jerks locked up.

I am launching a campaign against this guy and getting him deported.

just got a call from this number they call at all hours of the night i even recorded all conversations. asked him 2 fax all & anything to my personal attorney he then replied i will mail them 2 u and I could fax them. I laughed & asked why arent u able 2 fax the papers directly 2 him? because we've already took it 2 the state attorney. now, their blowin up my kids phones while they are in school it's riduculous!!! i just would like 2 know how the hell they have soo much info on my family? well ...I like the "AMERICAN "names their using it makes me so mad but all I can do is laugh!!!

I got a call from this same number at home and at my job. I might get fired because I kept hanging up and then finally I had enough of them calling and asking for my boss so I swore and there were customers around. I couldn't. Understand where they were calling from but I do have a name Justin Right

I have received this phone call at my employment.

I also got a call with Justin Wright but he did not give a company name. He called my place of employement.

These people have been calling everyone I know and cussing and talking with profanity and nasty statements. They have all our info, somehow we need to find a way to block or investigate how they are getting all this info. We have families and friends that they are threatening with violence. I would appreciate someone giving some hints on legal action to be taken. Leave your message on this site and I will check back for the info.

So I get a call about my husband fixin to be in trouble, because he got a loan from some loan company. when i asked the them what loan company they wouldnt tell me. I asked where the money came went because we sure haven't seen a dime. They couldn't tell me. They wanted me to send them 350 dollors to get the case close, i told them where to go and how to get there!

I've been told that these people get our information when we apply for a cash loan or some sort.  Just ignore them.  No matter what they will keep calling and harrassing all of us.  So from now on if you decide to give out your cell or work number give them a fake one because somehow they get into these files and get our numbers and ss#.

They use Magic Jack on computers. Called them back and harassed them myself. They didnt answer on the third call and it send the magic jack customer could not be reached

Today one of these morans called my son-in-law at work..stating that he was from a law firm and asking for $498.00 to settle the debt. It was from the same number as listed above...it also says Magic Jack when you call...why can't the FBI track them down and punish them for this crap...they need to stop this...

Call received by our office today asking for our daughter.  Said he was calling from "the legal department". I asked what company  and he repeated "the legal department" several times, then finally said "of cashnet.com". He spoke very broken English with an Indian accent.

My husband is an attorney of 35 years; I am his paralegal.  I informed "Dexter Williams" that he has reached the office of her attorney and must describe the nature of his business and the company he represents.  He demanded our "bar code number", apparently meaning the attorney's state "bar number", a question NEVER asked by a legitimate creditor or collection agency.  I told him he made no sense and obviously didn't know what he was talking about and must send any documentation regarding the nature of his call to our fax number at.. (he immediately hung up).

Recipients of these calls should be aware that a legitimate collection agency or creditor cannot, by law, contact anyone but the debtor without their written permission (a letter of representation is the norm).  Following that, the agency or creditor must supply documentation in writing by fax or mail, supporting their claim.
