Here are the facts about these calls. The organization making “illegal” robocalls to cell numbers and do not call list numbers calls itself BUSINESS PROMOTIONS, a fly-by-night boiler room operation existing in the shadows and easily moved around when complaints come in. The company they are working for is:

Americas Business Capital doesn’t loan money itself but tries to hook up borrowers with bad credit with lenders who might make them a loan at usurious interest rates and then pay them a fee. They should be the target of complaints because they are paying the bills. If you want, do what I did by following the four steps below. The more people the better.

1. Email them at info@americasbusinesscapital.com complain and demand to be taken off their call list. (If you want, you can also mail them a conventional snail-mail complaint.)
2. Telephone them at 888-426-0377, try to get a manager and tell them how you feel about illegal robocalls and demand the calls be stopped.
3. File a complaint with the NEW JERSEY BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

Call me multiple times

rec'd a call from this number, didn't answer and they left no message. Area codes 212 and 646 are the area codes for most of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. spam

Yet another telemarketer ignoring the do not call list.  The do not call list has teeth, but the law set the bar of proof too high.  It's tough to win, so telemarketers ignore it.

The call said if I'd been in business three months, they could get me a loan.  I pressed the number to get removed from the list and, of course, got disconnected.  I'm pretty sure I'll hear back from them.

Caller id said it was from New York. Didn't answer and no VM.

No... we like to call you so we can keep our jobs, as we do absolutely nothing but sit around and surf the Net and take coffee/lunch breaks from making harassing calls. Working at the FCC RULES BABY!!! YEAH!

Repeated robo calls to my cell phone which is on the do not call list. Always leave partial voicemail that makes no sense. This is unbelievably annoying.

Didn't answer the call and received no voice mail. This is the second time I've gotten a call from this number.

Never answered this call, but did find two missed calls from this number. No VM left, after reading these comments I have blocked the number.

illegal robo call offering a loan

They left a message and was talking about a no hassle loan offer so basicly crap.

Called two days in a row. Left VM - pre-recorded message offering loan solutions information. Seemed spammy. Asked to "press 1," which I did not do just in case.

Got a call from this number (646-712-8141) on my cell on 1/20/2015 at 2:14 pm. It was a recording offering me a small business loan. I am not a business and I hung up. My phone number is listed in the Do Not Call Registry so I will be making a complaint. Seven minutes earlier I got a call from 860-756-0777 on the same phone. I answered but hung up almost immediately because I could tell there was not yet a person on the other line. I don't know if the two calls are related or just coincidence. I will go look that one up next. The next day I got another call from 646-712-8141 on 1/21/2015 at 2:11 pm but I missed the call.

thanks for all the comments. just got this call and looked it up. never answer calls i don't recognize. be adding this to my block calls on my iphone so no more of these calls again!

Called 2 days in a row. Scammers.

I got the exact same two phone numbers call me as Mary L. First a call to my cell from 646-712-8141 on 1/20/15 at 12:29 pm, then another from 860-756-0777 exactly 2 hours later at 2:29 pm. A third from the 646 AC today, 2/21/15 at 12:29 pm, and a second from the 646 AC today at 1:11 pm. Identical scam recording from both numbers about a business loan.

ITS A ROBO CALLER PEOPLE- they call andhang up- they are just  selling bs  , and it says CUSTOMER SERVICE on the caller ID , this is a spoof call  they are supossed to have BUSINeSS NAMe on caller ID
they put CUSTOMERS SERVICE on caller ID and it needs to be reported

Notes here just helps others getting the same calls, you should report it to do not call list, as a SPOOF call

You would do me, and others here who want to spend the effort instead of just complain, a great service if you gave us a tip or a referral to a web site on how to accurately identify these types of callers.
