Someone Call him self Steve Martin calls form "he says" the US Treasury. I call back and told him that he's a piece of S_____ and he go F_____ him Self. Because he is a confirmed FRAUD!

This individual (with an Indian accent, like all the other scam call I get) called him self Steve martin called me today saying he's from US Treasury Dptm.
I'm a lawyer, quickly I check the number and he's definitely a scam. So I call back as*67 and no one pick up. Then I call again without *67 and they picked up. So I play the game and ask for Steve Martin. As soon he answer I ask him if he want to have a part in a movie and he had no clue.. lol. so I ask him: are you the actor Steve Martin? he replied: I am from US Treasury dept. I reply: You are a P____ of  S_____ and a scam! and he quickly hang up. LoL!.

Received call, caller ID showed NY I was told it was US Treasury Dept. & that had a warrant out for my arrest b/c I owed with penalties $6350 from inaccuracies on my 2011 Fed tax return. Heavy Indian or Pakistani accent. Called back & phone was answered Treasury Dept. I called at least 3 times & I told them NYPD & NCPD were called & now I was coming after them. Caller claimed his name was Steve Martin (a wild and crazy guy...). Call was in reference to U.S Department of Treasury enforcement action, failure to respond to second effort to initiate contact could result in penalties.

got a call from steve at the us treasury dept... said there was action going to be taken against me if i did not call back..
the only way they could help me was to call them back asap or "face the consequences"

IRS Scam:

The IRS does not need to sue anyone.  They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office.  Several of them.  Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for.  Again delivered by the Post Office.  Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own.  If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge?  They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

How do they get away with this scam? Why is nothing done to arrest these people? They are the worst scum and I feel so sorry for the people who they scare into believing they owe something they don't.

This person called me from 3 different numbers. I called him back told him I reported him to the IRS and US Government.

The Wild&Crazy Indian Steve Martin and the old IRS scam.
What puzzles me is that my Comcast CallerID display, showed 3 numbers displayed simultaneously, yet on the phone only one number got into the log.
This is a new wrinkle.......

Just received call from 646-757-1286, now he claimed to be Daniel Craig

Got a call stating to call John Galoway at 6467571286 to claim $750,000 that I am supposedly entitled to from the U.S. Treasury Department. He also told me to call a Federal Agent David Aveban at 202-304-1971.  This is a scam call.
