Why should I take the time to request these people take MY NUMBER off their list.  It's my private number and they are interrupting my day.  It's infuriating!  I get 4-5 of these calls every day....EVERY DAY!  My number is on every Do Not Call List available.  If I haven't called you I don't want you to call me!

This is unreal. 10 calls this week, no message, then four times today. One time I quickly picked up then hung up again, hoping their autodialer would stop calling, but no joy there.

And no, I will not call them, as I suspect that information gets sold on as well. Just like when you click "unsubscribe" to junk mail (your email is worth a lot more when you respond).

Anyone here notice that the number of calls since the no call list in Canada went up has not diminished in the slightest?

They do the survey for COSCO, and ask the questions like how many people in house, how many under 18, your age range & income range, how you like shopping in COSCO Orillia compare with Barrie. etc. feel not good, I shouldn't answer these questions

We've been receiving calls from 647-258-0262 for some time.  Thank goodness for caller ID, I don't pick up.  However, having just buried my mother, this is infuriating as we are going through hell right now.  I registered on the "do not call" list.  Obviously, that was a waste of my time.

Like the previous poster, we have just had a death (best friend) and are trying to assist. We are fielding calls before funeral. Then we get calls from low-life companies  like Leger marketing.

We are on the DNC list too but that seems kind of useless.

I followed the advice, called 1-800-404-2464 and yes, they were polite, and yes they claim to have removed my number from their list now.

They also claim that survey companies are exempt from the Do Not Call list.

If only it were that easy to get rid of others.

MB,  surveys are indeed exempt from the DNC.  However, once you request that they not contact you again,  they are obligated not to contact you.

woman using this number called me. i answered and woman kept saying hello as if she couldn't hear me and then there was dead air. i called back and there was no answer. tried several times and still no answer. someone using this number calls several times a day almost every day

It's a Sunday morning.  Have been getting a call from this number since 7:30 a.m.  and every hour on the hour since......this is a SUNDAY not a week day work day......but a family go to church day......leave us alone.....you are irritating.....be at least polite and leave a message. :(

really? They are supposed to wait until after 10 on weekends? File a complaint with CRTC, they will fine them.

While my sympathies are with you on the loss of your friend, this has nothing to do with whether or not Leger is staffed by "lowlifes". Everyone needs to work. If they are polite, if they listen to me instead of being pushy, if they only call when legally permitted, and if they stop calling after I ask them to remove my name then I would call that being professional.

And yes, DNCL is a waste of time.

Wanted to do a survey about aging and needed to talk with someone between the age of 45-80.

This number called here at 12:33 PM (EST) today, November 16. When I answered  there was NOTHING there, possibly the same as in the head of the person or persons responsible. What good is the do not call
list, NONE whatsoever.
Thanks CRTC  for no support, and the same to the telephone people who are allowing these jerks to continue.

Well they or IT called again this morning at 9:45 AM (EST). I answered and got the same result as last yesterday. This bunch of JACK [***] must be awful lazy that they REQUIRE a machine, I assume, to dial the numbers for them. They should get a life away from the telephone or computer equipment.

I have called that 1-800-404-2464  number a few times and all I get is a fast repeating busy signal, ergo I
believe it is useless to call.

This number goes to Toronto Breeze air duct cleaning calling my house every day can stop calling me i dont want duct cleaning and stop using diffrent company names when i told you i dont want wany more.
