- Sharon replies to StefanIf you read the BBC article about Terry Bradbury, you will see that he and his wife won £5,517,016 and that they plan to buy a villa in Spain and "use the winnings to provide security for their four sons and nine grandchildren." There is no money left over for you or anybody else on LinkedIn. The LinkedIn note you received is a scam and would end up costing you some of your own money, because that's how those scams work.
- charlotteI also got an mail frm it is really a scam

- No Nama replies to AnonimI also received exactly the same e-mail from Terry Bradbury via linkedin. I accepted the contact he did sent the same as what you received. At first I feel so happy because somebody very generous to give money to me a grant prize of 500,000 GBP. He also give the banker's name as Mr Kenneth Max.
The guy had called me up and asking me to look into the e-mail regarding open up an account which costing me Euro 865 for saving account. Then I start curious why I need to open up an account. If he want to give the money, just sent me out the check. Then I could bank it into my local bank account. "The bank officer" had sent out an email for me to choose which type of account that I prefer. After I read through, it has a very short time frame given within a week.
I purposely asking for "Terry" to open up the account for me or deduct a portion from the grant prize for the opening account purpose. However, what I received is it cannot be done. Then I said I can't afford to do that. Then, Mr Kenneth could easily send out an e-mail mentioning that the bank had agreed to give me to do payments installment of 50% of the amount and the balance after the money been transferred.
I keep on contacting but now I'm asking for the extension period till end of the month.
At the same time, I tried to locate back the number given through internet and found out that the number is unknown. The number given is +64844683711. I tried calling back the number and yes there got some recorded swedish lady talking and the line goes to some sort like a tapping. I tried calling the bank HQ to confirm back the number given and they mentioned that the particular number doesn't exist at all.
Meanwhile, I still contacting this "Terry" and reply the mail. I had been asking several times whether this is a scam or not. What I got is 100% not a scam. I still cannot believe this. I'm still investigating. Then I tried to open up back the linkedin under Terry Bradbury profile,. Do you know what happen? The profile has been turn off. No longer exist.
Then I start surfing in the internet try to find Terry Bradbury foundation. I found nothing about that.
Then I start asking why should I make the payment if he really want to transfer the money. Why can't the bank transfer directly to my local bank. It can be done if he's so generous.
Anyway, after I read this it seems that there got so many people been selected by god to receive the 500,000 GBP. Now what I'm thinking that if we pay, then we donate to him instead of we received the donation.
I'm still investigating at this moment. In fact, I want to nail down this scam people. - Natasha obanionGot a email saying I was selected to get 800 grand next thing u know I was getting calls from 4159465707 repeat with another email saying to call a man to wire the money to my bank from roy cockrum
