- Gatereceived the same call, saying press 1 for lowering interest rate of credit card
press 2 if you want to disable this auto calling thing
pressed 2, invalid selection
pressed 1 and asked that foreign speaker why my #2 selection was invalid
he hung up on me
next time, i will make sure he looses lot's of time with me on the phone...
i bet i'll hang hup before me :) - GrannyI pay for call display and make use of it , if I don't see a name I ignore it. sometimes it backfires as grandkids have cell phones and they don't always register a name. They know they need to leave a message in that case and I'll call them right back ( IF I'm home of course). I did receive a call from an old friend I had not talked to for years but it was from France , an odd number and no name so she finally left a message......
- BPJust received a call from this number - did not pick up as did not recognize number. Now on my blocked call list.
- MineFirstAid_Security48| 1 replyRecieved a call from this number, being that it was on the work phone I had no choice but to answer it...Told me my reply was invalid, so I pressed 1 to figure out what was going on. Some middle-eastern guy started babbling about my credit card and something else (a trick they use: talk so fast you don't hear their fake names/companies) Asked me if I owed anything on my card and whatnot. I asked him how he got my work number, he said I provided it to "them" which ofcourse I did not....Eventually, buddy realized he wasn't going to get anything out of me, babbled on about sending me some paperwork then hung up as fast as he could before I could reply.
Do not give out any information to this number, it is not VISA, it is not your respective bank; it's some punk in Toronto. Ask LOTS of questions, be assertive, and if you're bored, screw around with them a little bit.- Caller: Babbling Idiot
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnnoyedGot a call from this number and they hang up. Please make them stop. They call me every week.
- Bob4 calls within 15 seconds
- J. MacougallGot a call today from 647 430 8728 - when I answered it all I heard was my own voice saying hello. Hung up.
Don't these idiots have better things to do than to not even say anything? Gah. Added it to my blocked callers list, which has at least 20 in it now.- Caller: 647-430-8728 Apparently Ontario Canada
- RajanRebelWhy call on 5:45 PM on a Saturday evening on May 24, 2014?. Do they really think that I am going to answer a call from this number???? Quite likely a scammer. Not answering anytime soon, creeps!!

- G. Harrison replies to MineFirstAid_Security48Got a call once from an E. Indian fellow telling me my computer was full of viruses and he could fix it. Too funny. Asked him how he would possibly know that (just asked for fun), and he went on and on, hemming and hawing about how they have special programs to determine this... So I told him I'd just done all the service work and cleaning and virus checks on mine, plus it has a very good virus protector and a very good registry cleaning program etc etc. Wanted to know what he'd say. "Oh no...no...these are viruses you cannot find easliy". So I laughed and asked him if he was intending on askeg me for my info on how to allow him access to my computer, or ask me for my Visa or banking info blah blah. He went on and on about how he could fix all the viruses on my computer. I had some time, so I wanted to have a bit of fun. I told him I knew he likely needed a job, but that he should find one that was respectable and one that didn't try to scam people out of their hard earned money or ruin them by accessing their bank accounts, and I said shame on you. He got mad and told me I was being rude. Hah! I said - Real rudeness is trying to scam people, so get lost, get a respectable job, and maybe find out a way to fix all the viruses embedded in LOSER PEOPLE who try to scam others over the phone. Made my day . heh. He was really mad. Tough.
- Me replies to Ed| 1 replyI asked them if they understood what the Do Not Call list was and first they told me that no, they did not and then they tried to say that the DNC list was a list of numbers that it was legal for anyone in the world to call.
- Tomm replies to ZevAnyone claiming to represent both Visa and MasterCard are lying. These are two separate companies, and no one works for both. You know it is a scam right off the start when they do not identify who they work for.
- Tomm replies to MeIt was a great idea but does not apply to anyone calling from out of country. You can get a number with any area code in the world with VOIP and other similar services.
- ernie replies to Charles, Richmond,B.C.I would like if this [***] stop calling us every f-----g day
- Stephen HarperScammers....and you can always tell when the phone rings on the stroke of a new hour. Their auto-dialer starts to milk a new time zone hoping to strike gold. Losers
- Caller: Credit Card Scammers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Mary Iles replies to ZevYup. I got the same thing. This is the second time that they called me to lower my interest rate. I called the bank and they said that if my interest rate was to be lowered the branch would contact me. Not some losers. Don't fall for it. Its a scam.
Beware............scam..... - S.JSupposed to be from "Credit Services". The guy was a sweet talker (I recorded as much of the call as possible) and tried to butter me up. He said he knew I wasn't going to give him any information so he would just talk with me. I asked for a supervisor, but he said the supervisor was on his honeymoon in Amsterdam and was a criminal... Anyway, very funny guy and clearly a spammer.
- Mr. WiseCaller became very upset when I didn't give my birthdate out, raised his voice and tried to bully me. Would not agree to send paper documents confirming everything that was discussed, also would not give out a phone #.
- Caller: credit service

- Bailey22I have been getting the telemarkethers and scamsters calls for years - the Do Not Call list is a complete joke - don't think it have ever stopped anyone from calling. I realized there is no way to stop these calls when I was in a lawyers' office waiting room and the receptionist answered a call re: the free cruise b.s. She swore a little when she hung up and I commented that I get all the same calls. She said "I have told them that this is a Crown Prosecutor's Office and they need to remove the number from their call list. But, apparently that doesn't work as they still call..."
So, if the Crown Prosectors' can't get off these calling lists, what chance do the rest of us have?
Call today was from the "lower your credit card interest rate". And they are an all out scam outfit, so why don't you have that "call type" on your lists below??- Caller: "Head Office for Visa and Mastercard" - her words exactly. Lol
- MariBoltThis guy is a credit card scammer claiming to be from Dubai Saudi Arabia! Had to call the cops on him twice after he first gave out too much personal information on my father and then called me 6 times in the times span of 30 minutes! Warned him I called the cops! He also calls from the number (519) 682-9090
- Caller: Claiming to be CIBC but is not!
