- Jaron| 2 repliesLOL...this company is legit, i worked for RS acquisitions for almost 2 years...its just a commisioned based face to face direct marketing company..nothing illeagal about it at all..
- Jaron| 1 replysorry forgot to mention .. its a division of CYDCOR .. which is a huge company. google it
- StillThinkYouWillWorkForThem? replies to Jaron| 1 replyThis company is a complete bullsh1t. Don't even waste your time with these guys, you will just waste your gas/transportation money. I can say this because i worked for them in the past and i suppose this can serve as a warning for the new guys. If you want a work environment that you will constantly experience doors slammed at your face then go ahead, If you also like the experience of working your ass of the whole day running around the city the whole day and not even earning a penny because it's commision base work then that will also be your call =). Oh and I just wanna say this; You will work 10-13 hours a day, 6 days a week, No benefits, No holidays(this is actually the cherry on top of the cake, they will actually tell you to work during the holidays because since you work door to door this will be the best time to work since most of the people will be home!.So say good bye to all the holidays while you work for them.), No Reimbursements(they will tell you that you can WRITE OFF all of your expenses since you will be self-employed, But don't forget you can only write off a measly 30% from all your expenses) and the last one will be GOOD LUCK getting your pay-cheque ON TIME, well if the pay ever comes =).
I had so many bad experiences while i worked for this company and im lucky and very happy to say that i quit this company/cult.
If you ever go there for an interview, there will be two interview sessions the first one will be interviewed by the office owner telling you that they are hiring new people for their company and will be telling you about the "oh so awesome opportunities" waiting for you if you work for them. The interview will last about 5-10 munites MAX and then the owner will tell you that they might give you a call later on in the afternoon if they want to hire you, But don't give it a second doubt because they will call you!(If they don't call you that means your [***]) and then just wait for it about 2-5pm of that same day they will give you a call and tell you to come in for your second interview =).CONGRATULATIONS you are "a day of O"(O = observation). Be ready for your second interview(I know it's winter right now,so pray that you get a territory inside a building so it's nice and warm) as it will painly last for 6-8hours it just depends on the person you tag along with because he/she will try to show you a sale! if the person you are tagging along with sucks then you will be on the field longer =),IF the person you're tagging along with happens to make an early sale he/she will tell you this line "See how easy it is to make money =)". You will not do anything during this second interview, you will just run around and knock on people's door and have fun getting doors slammed right at your faces =) and then time will pass and then the person you're with will bring you back to the office. The office owner will welcome you back and tell you to just take a seat, and then the owner and the person who took you out for the day will go back to the owner's room have a little chat and this is how it goes:
Owner: So how was your day?
Leader: It was GOOD!(by the way leaders always have to say this)
Owner: How was your day of o?
Leader: He/she's good, blah blah blah blah......
Owner: So do you want him/her under your team?
Leader: YES!
You will see them exit the room and then they will both congratulate you that YOU ARE HIRED! and then tell you to come in the next day.
CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE NOW A CYDCOR MULE!!!!!!!!
They will teach you the sh1ts of the trade, like the 3-5-8 steps and so on and so on and so on. They will also teach you that soliciting is not BAD! if there's a NO SOLICITING sign on the door you should knock on that door anyway!. They will also teach you how to fool a building landlord(for example: when i was doing the rogers campaign if the landlord asks you what you are doing there, you just simply tell the landlord that rogers sent you there to check up on your customers and then show your rogers I.D. and then by now usually the landlord says ok! and then you go on the very top floor and START KNOCKIN ON THOSE DOORS!).
This will be your daily routine =) you will knock on those doors every single day/6 days a week/10-13 hours a day.
So if this the image of a good company they go ahead you can work your ass off and not make a single penny on your first few weeks =).
When i was there, there used to be a number of owners running under the same address in 1031 mc nicholl ave.
I.c.e inc - ran by michelle smith
J.B. aquisitions - ran by john black
Turnkey aquisitions - ran by john (ahh i forgot his last name)
Nspire aquisitions - ran by this indian dude(well he looks indian to me)
Administrator - Ella(zomg lol i forgot her last name,she has a nice a$$ too)
I forgot the names of the 2 other owners LOL.But yea i know the turnkey dudes got booted out of that office beacause they were being a "bad influence" to the i.c.e. inc. troop LOL =).
But yea, these are just SOME of my so called great experiences when i worked for this company. -end *sarcasm - WISE2U replies to coconutSO, COCO-NUTZ,
Since you are obviously one of the scammers, how long do you think you should be put in prison? I'm thinking you should be sentenced to 30 years to life as the shower attendant on the sex offenders wing. - previous employed replies to Jaronused to work for them for 4 months. Reza nd John are owners. They are fine , but not everyone can go door to door. We use to sell Rogers bundles ( internet, cable, home phone) it is not a scam and some people made decent money. However it is good for a temporary job unitll you find something better.
- LOLwow!!! well i just got a call from sandy who was a doll ..!!! said i had a interview tomarrow the company name she gave was prestige connection customer service position. she told out of the 150 resumes they only chose 10 and i was one of them. - rickya few days ago i got a call from Prestige Connections "sandy" of course, these commission based low grade companies make you feel victimized.
I just want a job, with base pay i don't care if it's min. wage
anything but door to door crap.
if the product was something good like electronics and stuff at a good price i wouldn't mind it. But going door to door is just wasting time
I feel so stupid for getting excited.
I Google mapped it and i remember having a interview in that location before but it was for security.
It was too far for me at the time, but after hearing about all you guys i don't think i want to go.- Caller: Prestige Connections
- Stacy replies to SuzieWow Suzie.. you did really work there.. getting free money from government? Is that what you said? You are a professional scammer - getting a job at this place is actually no big deal. They are begging you to start with them. Thats the experience I have had. There is another older lady there (sorry forgot the name) all the time talks of her grand son.. boy she can talk, talk and talk.. this place this offer and the whole deal is a BIG BS
- John replies to SuzieNo one by the name of Suzie worked here during the time period you are talking. So you are fake or could be you are Sandy defending your f ... a@# by writing this. Because I was working there and know what you are saying is all BS
- x ice doorknocker replies to StillThinkYouWillWorkForThem?Juice by you that is what the slogan is ... it means Join Us In Creating Excitment. and the biggest Juice monkey of all is Raivo...michelles fiancee(half her age)......Michelle is a crack pipe addict and you will never get a paycheck because she will spend it on crack........make sure you know the 3 5 an 8 or you will not be allowed to knock doors that day ...[***] this [***] it is the worst JOB (just over Broke) eveeeer.
ps Michelle is a hoo - B.H.I want to make one small statement and then I will let you guys continue to possibly spoil someone's perfect opportunity to become extremely successful/financially secure.
I used to work for a cydcor affiliated company and while it may seem a little "odd" or "suspicious" that you go on a full day interview and receive calls from the recruiting team, it is a way for the business to find "great" people in addition to people who are willing to work hard and get paid according to their performance.
After working for another office in the USA which was ran the same exact way for 1 year I became an assistant manager and managed my own team, team meetings - 7 months later my manager became terminally ill and we had to close our office.
This is door to door sales/business to business (B2B) sales.
Is it tough? Yes
Is it Rewarding? Yes, for the right person who is willing to take advice from people who are doing well at it and have a student mentality.
Is it for everyone? Of course not.
I will say this, when I was brought on my first day, I had no sales experience, I was shy and looking/speaking to me you would never think "stellar salesman" or even "outgoing" but this job + my work-ethic helped me to become a very confident and hard working professional.
I am no longer with the cydcor affiliated office because my manager became ill - however, I am 23 years old now and making over $120,000 a year because of all of the struggles, triumphs and hard work I put into this company.
So keep moaning, accept the status quo - but let people who may end up becoming extremely successful at this have their try at it. Don't spoil others' opinions or opportunities because you either couldn't cut it or you were too skeptical to step outside of your comfort zone.
Good luck to all!- Caller: unknown
- S.C| 1 replyHello to the peoples who is telling it's scam.

Good luck. - Sir Bedevere replies to S.CAnyone who wasn't born yesterday knows it's a scam. Variations on this "job offer" that turns out to be "work for free until you eventually become eligible for small commission" scheme are common. As are shills who post here trying to legitimize them.
