my phone number is being  monitored in nova scotia on the calls im getting from this  me and alot of other people their day is coming by law only allowed to call twice a week !!!

They have been calling me everyday four times per day since august....how can i make them stop

I keep getting calls from them saying Iowe them money but it is not on my credit report and they say I owe money to just energy but i have never had just energy in my name please get them to stop i tried blocking their number on my house phone but I still recieve phone calls

Parents get calls 4 times a day every day from these ppl they tell my parents they owe 2100 $ for a hydro bill which they don't. Dad told them his bill is up to date n his credit check came up positive nothing owing. It's stressing them out. My mom cries she's so frustrated. How can we make it stop

These are criminals calling your parents, and being bullies, they will continue to make threats because, to them, your parents are so scared they will pay to make the calls stop. But criminals never stop, unless law enforcement catches them.

If the bullies are calling your parents' landline, get a call blocker and an answering machine (if they don't have voice mail) and have your parents never answer any numbers they do not recognize, and let those calls go to voice mail. If the caller does not leave a voice mail that properly identifies the caller to them, they can contact you or another trusted person to help them figure out if the caller is legitimate or a scammer.

If your parents are not home when this kind of call comes in, they wouldn't answer the phone ... so from now on, when a call comes in, they pretend to not be home and let the equipment handle the call.

Canada has debt collection laws although they do vary.

I did something quite entertaining to these harassing [***]. They continue to call my house between 10am and 12noon every day (about 6 times a day). They are the ONLY people to call my house phone since everyone has my cell. So, I turned call forwarding on on my phone and used their own number. So every time they call me, it goes back to themselves. LOL. I'm loving the entertainment. I'm also calling them about 20 times per night on their toll free number, just putting the phone down beside loud music and leaving long [***] messages to annoy them, fill their mailbox and rack up their phone bill. Two can play at this game :-) :-) Bring it on FDR :D

calls from this number to my cell as many as 7-8 times a day. says not a sales call and to call back with account number which they never leave.  ontario credit collection law says they can only call once every 3 days i think??

Following up on my post above, they stopped calling me. I guess they got sick of their line ringing back to themselves. I also called every night and blasted music (usually Ace of Base) on their toll free number to fill their voicemail. I did this for WEEKS!! I think I got my point across. I kind of miss screwing with them :)

Called my cell ... Did not answer as I did not recognize the number.   No message left. Will fix to go straight to voice mail. Thanks for heads up. Number they called is my business number.???

That is a robot call - calling to see if someone answers to establish a patter of when you are most likely to answer - eventually a human - or message that give the option to connect to a human should follow - these collection agencies are so out of touch - but then they play the hit and miss game on debts that they usually buy for 10 cents on the dollar or less.
