Man you have no idea what your talking about call TDs main branch and talk to them they will tell you that, that was not a scam

I have been getting calls from this number multiple times a day for over a week now.
When I answered the first time, there was no response on the other end.

" 647"    prefixes  are  out  of  the     TORONTO /  GTA   AREA........


usually  linked  to   unregistered    cell phones.........mostly  "  telus  mobility" and  some  others..................

***  SEVERAL  SCAMS  ***   various  ones...........coming  from a  wide  variety  of   647  exchanges.........many  people  also  report  of  getting  calls   from  647    exchanges    after  posting  items  for  sale  on    the  "  usedottawa.com"  and  related     sites.........

Hi, I would like for these people to stop calling. Thank you.

Stop calling. I am not interested in responding to these calls for any reason at any time.

Added this number to my ignore list then called TD to cancel my Visa because of this. Call still continued even after calling them back, so no help there beside confirming that my number is active. Going to PC Financial instead as they are easier and cheaper to deal with

How can we get this number to stop calling, multiple times per day...

You can Skype out to annoying numbers, once I initiated 490 calls over a half hour span.

call the number back press 1 (for English) then press 1(do not call list) again and enter your number xxx-xxx-xx and they will repeat it to you and press 1 (confirm) again.

I kept getting calls from this and would scramble to my phone thinking it was someone trying to reach me. 647 area code is usually a cellphone or a newer landline I think.

Wow i thought i wuz alone wid this weird number.
Yeah this anomaly started on me march 8th and
never ceased since. March 13th they called again
And i received a voicemail alert then i check it
And nuthin, jus background noises then click

I called TD immediately after I received the call from the 647 # and they confirmed to me that it was NOT TD calling. It IS a scam and if you ever give out your information over to phone to anyone you have not called yourself, then you're rediculous.
