- Blue FlameCaller ID says "Facebook". I don't know why they'd call me. I have never used it, and it is blacklisted in my firewall. I didn't answer, and they hung up on ring 4
- Caller: Facebook
- Dee| 1 replyMy caller ID said it was Facebook as well. Highly doubt it, why would Facebook call any of their members. My guess its a scam hoping someone will answer just because caller ID said it was Facebook. This scammers are more bold every day. I never answer, unknown, private of toll free numbers.

- Samuel| 2 repliesI live in Marlborough, Connecticut and received a random call from this number too. They didn't leave any messages, but I found out that their call back number is 1-855-770-7790 when I googled in their nonworking number 650-543-4800 which is only set up to dial out "Facebook" calls to customers randomly and will never be set up to leave any messages. If anyone ever gets any of these random "Facebook" calls upon this nonworking number 650-543-4800, I'd suggest that if you don't want to receive these unwanted calls like this, call back 1-855-770-7790 and tell this foreign company in Menlo, California to stop calling you!
- Caller: Facebook
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Samuel replies to SamuelI do have my own Facebook site, but I don't want to receive these calls from this foreign company in Menlo, California. Since their random number 650-543-4800 is not set up to receive calls, I've called them back on the other end of their company. Their call back number is once again, 1-855-770-7790 and told them I don't have any problems with my Facebook and don't want to receive these kind of calls like this again!
- DTI couldn't believe it - a ROBOCALL from Facebook. I always come straight to 800notes for these bottom feeder phone calls and wow, this scammer beats all. Samuel (above) is right. My research also found the location to be Menlo Park, CA. Per 411 dot com, it comes up with three associated names:
Richard Nessary
Intellectual Property Law, Litigation
Phone Number 650-543-4800

Oculus Vr LLC
1 Hacker Way Bldg 10 <-- Hacker Way?? For real???
Menlo Park, CA 94025-1456
Website: https://www.oculus.com/en-us/
On the Oculus website, at the bottom in the fine print it says "© 2016 Oculus VR, LLC. Part of Facebook, Inc."
Not surprisingly, being a part of Facebook and all, the ONLY way to contact them is submitting a "support ticket" via the website. It doesn't even provide their business address. Not a very transparent company. They DID provide a link to their "Community Forum" (https://forums.oculus.com/) and when I clicked on the link from that website, I got a message saying "You followed a link on facebook.com that redirects to another website: https://forums.oculus.com/. You can now continue to this website, or go back to the page that you were on before. Remember, only follow links from sources that you trust." So let me get this straight. From all appearances I was on a website for Oculus Inc. When I clicked on the link for the OCULUS Community Forum, I got a message from FACEBOOK telling me I was being re-directed. Wow Facebook.- Caller: Facebook / Oculus
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Dan replies to Sees It RealLeft no message. I've saved this number to my caller ID so if they call again I'll know to ignore it.
- BostonHollyRidiculous. Mr. Facebook is not calling anyone. It's a spoofed number and it's a scam. The end. Don't know the caller ? Don't answer the call unless you want more of the same and all of it's scamscum friends. The very worst thing anyone can do is to call back and ask them not to call you-do you actually think they care what you want (or don't want) from them ? It's like telling Mr. Thief not to rob you, that your really don't appreciate it and if he does it again you are going to get so mad you will call the police.
- Caller: BostonHolly
- bostonHolly replies to len ryou are correct. it's a scam, the number is spoofed by an offshore caller who uses any number, the more familiar the better (Kudos to whomever was able to hack thru a Facebook account - more proof that it's the least secure of all multi user social accounts). Facebook hahahha. . But it's how the scammers get away with scamming - they get fools to answer the phone or , even better yet, to call them back . Big business, the selling of phone number lists.
- Glenn ReillyThe caller ID read FACEBOOK. It was a recorded message about getting more website traffic. Definitely a spoofed number with a junk call.
- Caller: Spoofed
