I don't recall receiving a call but I was billed $18 on my Visa with a bank statement entry of "FACEBK GMQMYYXECL2-650-543-4800 CA" I will dispute the charge.

Cancel the account, too.

Randomly charged $25. Just saw it today.

This guy named chase told me to call this number if my phone # was still connected to instagram, btw he works with metro, I only asked about it bcuz my number is still connected to my insta

Bought truck rims on Facebook Marketplace.  Used the pay now method and supplied credit information.  Three days later several fraudulent charges showed up on my credit card.  My credit card company shut down my card and issued a new one.  Thought my information was safe on facebook.  Never did get my order.  Total sscam

I just got paid went to pay my insurance,  card got declined.  So I called my card there was 2 charges from Facebook advertising and that 6505434800 number was associated with it. So I called it, strait bogas number! They got me for $922.00! All I know is I better get my money back! I'd like to know how they got my number and how they are able to charge my account

I got one today too! It's POS DEBIT FACEBK 8E37K6FEQ2 650-5434800 CA, how do they get your info??? I'm so confused, there would be no way to get via call to my bank or anything like that so I'm super confused how they were able to enter it without the credit card or the cvv!!

I was looking through my bank account transactions and found something under the category of charitable contributions $300. Sadly, I am not someone who typically gives to charitable organizations, so I was suspicious. The details page said it was an in person transaction, using Facebook Pay. It said it was posted on a certain date. I scrolled back in my Facebook page to that date and found that I actually did contribute money to a fundraiser. It was someone I knew who had posted a request for donations for their own personal needs - paying bills. This number was listed under the Facebook Pay heading. I didn’t ever get any calls from them with this number, it was just there on the receipt, so I looked it up here to see what showed up. So for me I guess it’s a legitimate number for something I legitimately did. Who knows how scammers might be using it.

I'm confused. You found out what the number was for on "the details page" so why did you come here "to see what showed up"? I think your shill attempt was a poor one.

Well, after reading some of the posts here, it has become quite clear that there is a scam going on with the Facebook payment portal, where shady merchants are adding additional charges after the customer purchased or donated and has their payment info.

The Facebook marketplace is a scammer paradise, so it is not a trustworthy place to give your financial info.

I had 3 transactions appear on my bank totaling $1,000. Called my bank and seeings how they  had posted there was nothing they could do. While I was on the phone 2 more went through for $300. All from FBPAY.  4 different women same destination code in CA. Code was 650-543800. My bank is fighting me for a refund. Facebook seems to have had this problem for a long time a couple years is as far as I went back. Isn't a couple years of people being ripped off from your site.. fix the problem.. I'm done with Facebook. Goggle the number.

They took out 3 payments 25.00 each 12/23 12/26 and 12/28.Facebook I never buy on or use ever with my acct. just to much scam. had too cancel debit.The name facebook comes on acct..

It's 2022 and they are still up to the same antics. Noticed a charge on my acct and disputed it immediately.

Spam. How the heck do you remove it from your account and email. Facebook needs to remedy this.

I'm sure the Jeff Zuckerberg will be happy to remove it for a fee since he probably sold your information to anyone that would pay him money.  After all, how do you think that he got so rich?
