"Vance" is still on the payroll as of May 23rd 2017. Very rude individual. I understand that I am not his intended but still could have a better attitude. It was a very confusing call but I googled the phone # and thankfully landed here.

As of May 23rd, 2017, BBB shows that American Accounts is NOT accredited with them.

1. Some dude named "Vance" called. Quite rude. Obviously a fake name now that I've been led to this page, thank God.
Oh...AMERICAN ACCOUNTS, the caller's company, IS NOT---REPEAT---NOT ACCREDITED BY THE BBB, BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (I just checked today, 5-23-2017).

Thank you!! I'm unsure if the person above is confused or what but.....regardless of bills there are laws!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the best of us have at times had financial woes at one time or another, it just shows the ignorance of people!!! Not wanting to say anything improper; this guy is a scam artist and it doesn't matter who you are. He seems to be equal opportunity thief lol!!!!

This is a scam. I was sent letters and received numerous calls from Vance at American Accounts regarding collections from a bill from Emergency Medical Services in Minneapolis. I called EMS to verify I had paid the bill, which I had, and they confirmed it was never sent to collections. I informed Vance but continued to receive calls and letters suggesting I pay.

The letters I received also stated that this company is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. I will be reporting this to them immediately.

This guy just called me twice in a row, I called him back from my company phone which does not provide a callback or caller id... and he picked up and the name of the business was distorted.  He was extremely volatile  when I asked him to repeat the business he said No, whose this, I said you just called me twice from this number I want to know who you are and why your calling me. he made me give him my phone number and said he'd tell me why if I did,  so I did because I am waiting for some confirmations on some other business, I said just tell me who you are and why your calling me, if this were a legitimate business you would say it...then said are you "my name" and then tells me he is calling to collect on a debt for a medical bill, well I have very good insurance, and and I have a current account with the same physician's group (and have a current bill with them for 54.00) NOT $300.00 Vince, so how could this be??? He then says he will send me another bill and asks if I live at a "wrong address" nope not me, he says well it will just stay in collections then. I hung up.  Unbelievable.  My credit score is 840 Vince! I think I will call my lawyer  later this afternoon,  what a creep.

This guy Vance Hall seriously needs some lessons on how to Converse with people. Calls says his name and refuses to say what his business is. Looks like another number for the block list. Caller ID just shows as is listed below

Well you do know that it doesn't matter how many bad reports a company gets, all they have to do is pay $5000 for a 4 star rating. The better business bureau is as corrupt as the rest

Vance called and when I asked him what it was about he got very aggressive and hostile telling me he can only talk to so and so.  I just hung up on him.

Continually calls during work hours, to which I have told them to stop several times, and the continued calls during work hours keep coming. Never leaves a message - demands I pay in full a bill that is not even 5 months old, that the original company should still have ownership of, claims I need to pay extra to use my bank card over the phone to pay and demanded a checking account number to which I said nope.

This is a SCAM. Calls me weekly, never leaving a message (that's a bit odd eh?), when I finally picked up after about 4 weeks of calls - he claimed he is a debt collector and that I have a $999 anesthesia bill that is in collections. He gave me an old address of mine where the "bills" have been going to. I provided him my new address and asked for a letter. I got the letter and it looked totally fake. So I called the hospitals where I was treated, they scoured for this "unpaid bill" and could not find one anywhere. I went through two representatives to be sure. The next week, I get a call from "AAA" again, and I answer to let them know that I know it's a scam. That I've checked with the hospitals and I have no outstanding bills. He immediately got defensive and rude and said "What are you talking about?!" and I said, exactly, you are a scammer - BYE. BLOCK THIS NUMBER. If you are worried about an unpaid bill, call your medical facility or insurance company.

I would be really curious to know why everyone goes to all that trouble when they don't have to?
