It can't be because I never had a subscription to any AZ newspaper or anything else in that matter. And, I still get calls from this number.

I got a call from "A Market Resource", as well, but didn't answer. After seeing that most of the postings, here, were about the Arizona Republic, I called the Republic. The CSR clearly was familiar with this ill-conceived marketing campaign, and immediately said she was removing my number from their list. Will it work? I can only hope--and report back if it doesn't.

I get 3 to 4 calls from this number, when I pick up the phone there is no one there and they do not leave a message. I consider this as harassment. How do I stop these calls?

These people have been calling me.  First of all, I don't even live in Arizona nor am I subscribed to any newspaper---whether it be a paper copy or online version.  I don't even know how these people got our phone number!  Is there a nonsubscribe link so that they won't call you at home anymore?

I've received 2 calls from this number...once a day for two days straight..within the same 30minute interval on both days. I didnt answer...IGNORE.   My suspicion:  I rented a car in San Diego, CA  3-4weeks ago, with Alamo Rent-a-car. I've been getting random calls from various area codes ever since. I'm pretty sure they sold my number...turkeys!   I also read that Enterprise did the same thing...just saying :(

I have been getting calls from this number several times a day every day for quite a while now and have just found out by reading other posts that it is from the AZ Republic.   I have gotten the paper daily for years and about a year ago changed it to just Wednesday and Sunday delivery as I had no time to read it anymore and was just throwing most of them away.  I guess that is why they are calling me now to try to get me back as a daily customer but I will not answer and it is not going to work anyway.  I have caller ID and I just let it ring or I will open it up and wait a few seconds without saying anything and then just hang up.   It is just very annoying to have the phone ring several times a day and night and you have to get up and see who it is only to find it is an unwanted call, especially when you are on the do not call list that doesn't seem to work.

I got the call and answered it.  It is the AZ Republic trying to increase my subscription from 2 days per week to 7 days a week.

This number 651-288-2880 keeps calling and when I answer they hang up and when it goes straight to voicemail there is no message.

Im from San Antonio TX and currently in Houston, have never been to AZ but they ve been calling me since sometime April & sometimes 3 times a day!! Whats the hell do they want out of me?
I never take out of area calls, they never leave messages. So wasteful.

I have been getting calls on my cell phone from this number for the past two days. They call 2 or three times a day. I live in New York. They never leave a message, very annoying. I wish they stop.

If they call you and you want the calls to stop, tell them that they are calling a business and you do not want any further calls to your number.  I do this to any soliciting calls and have had great success.  They do not seem to understand the word no if you just try to say no, however, if you say it is a business number - they seem to understand that.

I get 2-4 calls per day from this number and no messages are left. I just called them back and their answering machine states they are "A Marketing Resource" representing newspaper subscriptions. So, I'm assuming since my St. Paul Pioneer Press Newspaper subscription has come to an end as of this month, that is why they are calling. I am thinking they must represent any newspaper who hires them to help them with their subscriptions. They also state "If you received a call from us, we will call you again soon." So, I think if you don't answer they will keep calling!

15 calls from the number. They ask for some girl named kaitlin or some name like that. They don't stop calling me.

This is the St. Paul Pionner Press calling me once a day now.
They even called me at 8:30 pm one night, right when I had gone to bed.  They are relentless.  I had signed up for a 6 week subscription and then I cancelled, it is not what I wanted.   There was a reason I cancelled the subscription in the first place. Do they think that harassing phone calls will get me to change my mind?    Every time I answer I ask them to take me off their call list, they assure me they will and then the next day I get another call from them.   I don't answer the phone now but I will be seeing what my rights are and pursuing harassment charges.
