Received voicemail from 916-347-3374 in a civil matter with a case number 12302326. But if I wanted to handle this matter I would need to contact 651-383-8280. That's funny, I received a call from the same number previously and wanted me to call 406-345-1341. I called the 1341 number and asked for a letter with their company info, amount owed, and who was it for, they hung up. I learned my lesson before, I paid one of these companies and asked for a letter saying I made the payment and never received anything.

same call every month. I returned call told them when I have a case number from our local court I would be happy to respond.

Scam. If there is a court case you will receive a letter from an attorney or the court. It is illegal by law to collect money without proper documents that they must supply to you. This is nothing more than a BS call that's been played out for years by conmen!

I had a call saying they had several complaints about my husband and to call that number 651-383 number and left a case number and when I called she told me she needed to speak to my husband she doesn’t deal with spouses we like to argue to much and hung up on me , very unprofessional what is it ? Is it a spam or I’m new to all this and young so just want to know if it’s fake or not I guess but she was rude as heck

I received calls from several different numbers telling me that I need to contact 651-383-8280.  I was given a case number.  The lady (Rebecca) that I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional.  She stated that I owed over $7,000.00 and that they were going to come out to my place of business today and take my vehicle.  I don't have a judgement on my credit report and have received nothing regarding this so called case.  After I commented on her rude and unprofessional tone, she told me that she had my employment information and would be happy to contact my employer to tell them how unprofessional I was and if this is how I interacted with people at my place of employment they should fire me.

This scanner probably won't call your employer but just to be in the safe side, let your HR manager know about this scam attempt.

Follow up:  I contacted Wakefield & Associates, the collection agency that Rebecca said she represented.  I provided them with my phone number and other information and she said that they have nothing.  I figured from the way Rebecca handled the call, that this was a scam.  Now I am certain of it.  Just wanted to let people know.

Oh, I will do that for sure.  I called her a choice name and proceeded to hang up on her.

I just got the same calls said to call back 651-383-8280 they hung up on my when i asked where i was calling Rebecca who answered laughed and said she didnt know, advised i will contact an attorney she hung up on me again, i called another female answered said i was calling Wakefield Litigation(which doesnt exsist), once i asked for her to spell then name of company out she hung up on me, Now if you call the # back it states they are unavailable, this is an debt collection agency using deceptive practices and now trying to scam people breaking the FDCPA, Contact an attorney and file a compliant on this company, THIS IS 100% ILLEGAL WHAT THEY ARE DOING

i worked there,   believe me they are ripping you off by making false threats and overcharging false debt.  dont pay them

You need the legal name and business address to file that complaint.

They keep calling me from different 1-800#'s that I keep blocking. There is no possible way that I owe money to anyone. Definitely a scam.

I received a call from 646 968-2818 asking me to call 651 383-8280. I called and was given my D.O.B and they had the year off by 10 years. I asked what I owed for and the informed me it was a loan I took out. I asked for them to send proof and was told they couldn't because I was in medication.

Well they are using 607-282-8492, which I blocked months ago, telling me to call this 651-383-8280 with case # 12365635 about a social security issue. The first message was a lady & the 2nd was a man's voice. Am I returning call, NO as I have no judgements out there. Just another scam

My parents received a call from a local number at first, when leaving the VM they did not specify who or where or what they were calling about just stating that they had a civil case against me using my maiden name and when leaving the call back number was cut off half way through, next time my dad answered and they hung up, called my cell with a local number with a return number of 651-383-8280 with a reference number and that I needed to call to talk to someone about this, once again no name of person or company! Should I just ignore this and see if I get anything?

Left a vague vm, called it back. I had just went through cancer treatment so thought it was one of those bills that had to go back to my insurance. I asked Rebecca if that was the case. She said I should die because I can’t pay my bills

She broke the law by telling you that. You need to report her to the FCC

Since the FCC has absolutely no jurisdiction over debt collection calls why would you purposely try to misdirect people from filing complaints with the proper Federal and State Agencies?  Maybe because you work for these people?

They call me every other day and when I ask to send me information on this case in paper and They would say this is you being served now you have to pay or the sheriff will come arrest me.
