I received a call from this number at 18:15 hours Eastern DST 03/12/2019.  It is the old scam about---We have information (They said errors this time) about your computer.  I asked the idiot for my IP multiple times.  After several demands for the information, he started by saying 888.  I probably laughed because he hung up in mid-sentence.

It is a spoofed number, which I confirmed when I called it back.  It won't achieve very much to block it.  But, just be aware.  While they aren't saying that they are with "Microsoft Support" this go round, it is the same type of scam.

Gee, in my call an arrest warrant has been issued under my name and am I aware of the situation?  He hung up, I guess, 'cause I was having difficulty containing my laughter.

called 5:53pm EST.  No message.  I don't know anyone in Singapore.

where is there an area code of 654 in North America?

Called the cell phone for our business.  Nobody answered and the line went dead after about 15 seconds.  This was probably a robocall because I answered the phone with the name of our business, not "hello".  So there was no cue for the call to start.  Area code 654 is in Minnesota.  We don't know anybody in that state.

Call from Singapore?  Yeah right.  No message, most likely scam attempt.

Called, I didnt answer (number unknown to me), did not leave a message.

I don’t answer calls where CID states “Name Unavailable”.  Didn’t leave message, and now they are blocked.

Any time I answer a phone I say hello, I realized this was a scam and said goodbye and hung up. So why is this a mistake

Called and claimed to be support. I had a problem recently with a game site and thought it was them.  The person on line had an extremely heavy accent (Indian I thought)  Kept asking me to press the windows button on PC keyboard and press R at the same time.  Nothing happened and he kept insisting I press the windows key and press R at the same time. Nothing happened again and again so I started to question who he was and who he represented.  He just kept trying to get met to press the keys so I said scam  goodbye

Didn't answer when I said Joe's Pizza, when I looked up the number and saw you guys comments. I just started laughing. And I've had that arrest warrant sing before from some guy who was a deputy of the FBI! LOL

Sure glad we have these postings and sites. Number called yesterday I missed it and because of postings I have blocked another scam call.

Got a recorded message from 844-813-1428 yesterday, telling me my Windows license key had "been expired" by Microsoft.  (Yeah, okay, whatever...)  And now just got a call from 654-666-2350.  They didn't leave a message this time, but judging by other comments left I suspect it's the same people.  Some cretins just never give up!

Male, indian accent called from 654-666-2350. He indicated I had a security issue with my computer and asked me to turn it on. I told him it was already turned on. He said to hold the windows key and press R at the same time. So I did. Then to type in MS Config, so I did. Then he wanted me to find a system application, general boot service, and then go to security. I kept him on the phone as long as I could, to either retrieve everything he is up to or discover if he is in the process of getting caught. Then finally....the 3 beeps! Call was being recorded by the good guys. You guys that block or report, you rock! - the powers that be knew about the number since many of these get reported...and blocked. Lots of blocks coming in on the same number. Got 'em!
