The scammer is continuing.  Got a call today.  Asked for a copy of bill because said I did not know what it was about.  She said she couldn’t provide.  I hung up.  Total scam.

Today was 4th 659-300-2033 called with this scam. Jessica states this call is being recorded. Kept her the phone as long as I could. I wanted an address to send payment. She thought she had one on the hook. Jessica transfered me to Elizabeth. Elizabeth tried to get payment for another 5 minutes. Then I asked Elizabeth "Do you know what the good news is?) Elizabeth said what? I stated " I am also recording this phone call and now you can hear yourself on the news." She became angry and hung up.

Got a call from 'Account Services' this morning.  Fellow talked very fast (first clue). When asked who he represented he replied 'your certainly a manly man' and hung up.  When I called back a lady answered and said she couldm't help because the fellow that just called had my file.  She would have him call back. He hasn't.

659-300-2033 - Same story as the prior complaints. SCAM CALL!!!

Received a phone call on 3/2/2022 from Consumer Collections stating that I owed $442.23 for a bilirubin test done on 8/5/2019. Bilirubin is a test for jaundice given to infants. IF we had had a test for jaundice it would have been done several years prior. They also said that I was the recipient of the test, couldn't give the name of the health care provider who ordered the test and said insurance had refused to pay for a second test. This particular test costs under $100 so there was already a red flag. The lab they claimed to have purchased the debt from was Alliance Diagnostics Laboratory. I could find no information on them.

They gave a callback number of 616-522-8078 which is in Ionia, MI and listed as a landline to 190 W. Adams, Ionia, MI 48446....this address does not exist (confirmed by calling the Ionia police). The Ionia police confirmed they had received several similar complaints. Most likely this number bounces the call around and there is no way to really determine where the caller is from it.

I also confirmed with my insurance company that there had been no such test given or refused in 2019 for any member of my family covered by our insurance. In fact, the insurance agent attempted to call Consumer Collections on my behalf and was disconnected and then blocked. I would say this is definitely a scam but it is concerning since they do seem to have some information about me.

Called 5 times demanding money on a laboratory bill they claimed was past due since 2019.  Yet they refused to provide me any pertinent information to support their claim.  Told me they were going to sue me

Today got the same type of call as above.   I was told this was for a non payment of a ckp2 and ckp3 lab test from Oct 2019 services by quest lab.   No info on location could be provided.  Pay now or world be turned over to credit collection and then my credit rating would be impacted

After checking my health records I havd never had these test ordered or done

I called the number and was given all kinds of info about being recorded agent numbers.  Talking to supervisor s.   Deadlines to meet
Asked for a letter to be sent - last chance as many letters had been sent - neither myself or husband remember seeing any letter :;(- this as a final courtesy phone call

Simple.  This is already in "collections".  So that means that they are lying to you.  "Lots and lots of letters have been sent"?  Yeah and pigs fly.  What they now owe you is what I posted on page one.

We received a call very similar from "Consumer Collections" stating we had $477.14 outstanding, however had my wife's name but my number. Stated it was for lab work done in 2019 at Alliance Diagnostic which was purchased by Akumin Inc. so they weren't able to give more information and believed my wife's contact info must have been misplaced during the acquisition but had me as the emergency contact.  We reached out to our health insurance provider along with the medical provider where we DID have lab work done (different than the companies listed above) and all stated nothing was sent to collections.  I continued to call this number back and connected with three different people all of who hung up on me at some point as I continued to push them for info they were not providing.  They stated they will be filing with the credit bureaus.  If they do, I will come back on here and post that it was legit!  But so far the smells and feels like fraud!

That does not mean that it was "legit" and assuming that fact leaves you open to getting scammed.  I can also see that the proper way to determine if it is "legit" has been posted in this thread.  Too bad you didn't bother to read and learn.

Advising I owed a bill to Alliance Laboratories that was in collections. That the bill had previously been sent to me. I checked my credit report and there was nothing on it. This is the 3rd time in several months that they called me. I have excellent credit and have never been overdue on anything. I contacted Alliance and they stated it was not owed and it is a SCAM!

I was called from this number, saying I owed a debt (no details of course), and was threatened three times with them dinging my credit report if I didn't send them money.  I told them I had never heard of the company, I didn't owe anyone money, and to do what they needed to do.  Caller hung up on me.

4/25/2022. Call received from this # stating she was collecting a debt for US diagnostics of $400+ dollars for a CPK blood test unpaid from March 10, 2019.  As a nurse I recognized this test and stated I never had the test.  Checked my health account and found no record.  Told I received 4 prior paper notifications.  (Did not).  She could not give me the testing site or providers name but said she can give me the provider’s license number (1978169).  Really?  I was told I would now receive a 35% late fee on the balance until paid.

I received a call, pushy women, stating that is owed for past blood work from US diagnostic and thought they meant quest diagnostic but turns out I never had any work done that day. She also stated that if I didn't pay the fee today that she would have to report me to credit agencies and show negatively on my credit reports.
This is a complete fraud - I guess I will be running phone numbers from now to confirm the identity of people. what a shame that this is the world we are living in now.

Today they called for the 3rd time from 659-300-2033.  This time the amount is more than the last two time and they said I owed US Diagnostics this time.  The other two were Alliance Health, a healthcare management company, not a lab that process blood work.  They would not provide me with a Mailing address for them or for US Diagnostic.

Very rude woman called and threatened to put something on my credit. Claimed they sent me notices and that I owe over $400 for blood work??? I pay bills and have insurance. I also contacted Anthem and they have NO RECORDS of any claims being filed for the date she gave.

When I asked where this took place she said due to a ‘non disclosure’ she could not give that information but they have labs all over the country. So I told her I have zero recollection and I’m not paying anything if she cannot verify details. Also it’s illegal since I am asking her to verify and she is not. I said I would report her and started recording the call. She hung up.

I had the exact same call twice now! same amount and everything!  They also got nasty with me!

They're still at it. Got a call claiming I owed $ for lab work not covered by my insurance. I pretty much knew it was a scam 'cuz I had received a similar call a while ago and determined it was a scam: I told them I'd see them in court, and never received the threatened summons. They do somehow know that you have had lab work - scary.

I got a call today stating that I owed $1500 for a payday loan that I have never taken out. The bill went all the way back to 2005 and here it is 2022. She was very pushy to begin with, and when I started asking questions I told her there was no way this is correct. She said there might be a judgment night against me and I hung up.

This is the exact same thing that happened to me today.
