Got the same message. Was going to send a message that except under very rare circumstances (competition prep is about it), I'd never force that kind of lesson schedule on any child.  Glad I found this site.

A person text me from this number looking for Spanish classes for her daughter. He asked for my personal information. When i asked him when did he get my ad he did not respond . I wrote an ad at Craig list about Spanish tutoring./ If you received a call from this number do not believe. It is fake!

Same approach.  I asked for his US Social Security number in order to report my earnings and he suddenly stopped responding to my texts!   Imagine that!

Same exact message as you guys when offering my math tutoring. He said to show his daughter some love? Creepiest creeper I ever did see.

Did any of you ever get threatened?  I got the same messages.

This person texted me as "Chris Blair" wanting tutoring session for his/her daughter.  I always "google' every tutoring client before I make official contact with them.  I'm SO GLAD I saw these posts.  I will NOT text this person back.  He/She wanted, " tutoring for 2 hours per day for 3 days a week for a month." The grammar was very strange as well. A clear giveaway but I wasn't fully convinced until I found this site.

Same thing happen here in Florida.  I hope they get him soon.

Got message from Chris Blair, felt suspicious so I gave him a decoy address to meet his "daughter Alicia ". Then I looked up the number  and email. Found out it was a fraud. I hope they catch this guy!

Got almost the exact same message in reply to an ad for swimming lessons in Texas.  He kept asking for an address, so glad I got suspicious and found this.

I got the same message. Problem is, I was actually giving tutoring lessons, The guy has my address. What can I do?

I got the exact same text 1 day after I placed a craigslist ad for tutoring.  There is clearly a person there responding, as he answered my questions but refused to provide personal information and was very eager to send money, without even knowing what type of tutoring we do.

Same thing just happen to me. Put up a craigslist ad, he responded as Chris Blair, with 12 year old daughter, and headed to Canada. Trying to get my name and address to mail the check but I never gave in and then I found this online. Cant believe this. Waste of time.

Got the same texts as well.  Definitely knew it was fishy!  I don't understand why he hasn't been shut down yet considering so many people are reporting him!

Same exact story here. His messages popped up less than 2 min after I posted my craigs list ad for tutoring.

Chris Blair called and wanted tutoring for his daughter. I checked him out and saw it was a scam.He called from 1/240-560-8779. He texted on 9/10/2013.
