SMH... - Ed KyddThis guy is a scammer and is messaging my number as the result of a Craigs List ad. I am on the do not call register and he has the same MO as many others, who want to overpay you, and have you send them the difference.
- Caller: 'Chris Bllair'
- A W BHey He got a hold of me too except now he has a NEW number! 530-592-0622 Chris Blair and I got an e-mail address that actually works!!! It's chrisblair001@gmail.com
He used the exact same ammo as he did for the rest of you, Daughter Alicia, 12, tutor needed, etc.- Caller: Chris Blair

- FriendBE WARNED - The individual at this number is a Craigslist scammer. He just tried to pull an Overpayment Scam on me; this is where a scammer will send you a fraudulent cashiers check for more than the amount your selling your item for and request that you send the difference back after you've payed for shipping etc... Once you deposit the check it will bounce and then you are left liable to to pay back the bank with your money and item gone. If this person or anyone else should contact you asking to ship your item or wanting to pay you with a cashiers/personal check or money order DO NOT reply to them. If it sounds too good to be true it is.

- L T SApparently Chris Blair is at it again. I just received the same exact message but from a new number (774) 452-9756. He likes to move around, from California to Massachusetts... lol. Love his grammar, maybe HE should get tutoring.

- Desire CruzJust got a text. He wants me to tutor his 12 year old daughter. He asked how much I would charge for a month. Then asked for my address so his secretary could forward payment. I googled his name and saw it was a scam.
- guitar teacher| 1 replyWe just got a check from him and are not depositing it. Same sorry texting messages to us about his daughter. 831-272-0045 is the number he contacted us with.
- wendy replies to guitar teacherYes, he just texted me as well. Thanks for the headsup. There's so many scams on craigslist now, it's sad. Used to be a good thing.
- Hill KrausePhone number text me claiming it was Tony Blair: +1 (831) 272-0045
Just a craigslist scammer- Call type: Text message
- Math TutorYup. I got the same message. Only from +1 (234) 281-0958. And his email address is tonyblair655@gmail.com.
It seemed a little fishy, so I asked him to call me. He then responded: "Due to my disability (Deaf) i can't make or receive call so just text me and let me know or email me'"
WTF!!! What a piece of sh*t. First, he's preying on people who work hard at what they do, EDUCATING children. Secondly, he's claiming to be disabled. And what's worse of all.. is that he didn't even spend the time to write out his scam requests properly!!!! Ugh. I'm going to report him. - AubreyYep, just got a text from this "Tony Chris Blair". The terrible grammar tipped my off, and about 5 seconds of googling brought me here. For me, he used the number 1 906 336 7914
- Pat replies to Jay| 1 replyI got the same thing for guitar lessons from

- swim lessons7076697399. This is the same person using the email tonyblair655@gmail.com. He wanted swimming lessons for his 12 year old daughter and he will be in Canada for a month and wanted to do three days a week for a month. He claims he is deaf. This is a scam. He will send you a check and once you receive it via mail, and once you deposit the check, the check will bounce and you will have to pay back the bank the money that you spent. Do not believe this scam.

- millman replies to Jay| 1 replyI just got the same message concerning tennis lessons in San Antonio, TX. The misspellings and typos are always a dead give away for fraud.
I am not interested as this whole ordeal seems fishy. I give lessons in Austin/San Antonio not in El Paso. Also, I do not take wire transfers etc from people I dont know. In addition, parents always meet me during lessons then pay once completed. No one would pay $400 upfront to someone they haven't met. Please do not text me anymore. Thanks. got the exact same message concerning tennis lessons. He is what I said to him. - millman replies to millmanMy text did not turn out as I planned. The last sentence should have been at the top concerning what I said to him. He has not replied.
- Meer1Same scam. Hope no one falls for it. This person sends text messages (apparently he is literate enough to read Craigs List) with the same ridiculous offer. Please tutor my 12 year old daughter. (Always a daughter, the age varies). He is fine with the cost (which he knows nothing about) and apparently is willing to leave this "daughter" off with a total stranger. Am willing to bet that he will offer to send a certified check with overpayment to my bank and I can send him back the differences. DO NOT do business with these people. They are looking to access bank accounts and can withdraw on the check. He is the one who could use language skills lessons along with some ethics classes.
