677-614-8297

I received a call from 677 614 8297, I thought I hung up on them answering the phone, I was going to call them back but wanted to know where 677 prefix was from, Google said the Solomon Island, and then I ran into this site and I saved the number with the name A%#HOLE so I will never answer that number.

UNKNOWN caller, immediately looked it up on Google and found all these reports for the number.
It said United States (no city, no state), the area code seems to be from Solomon Islands.  Blocked the @#$%^& caller.
Ladies & Gents, IF YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER ..... DO NOT ANSWER IT!!!!    Simple as that!

Exact same thing happened to me

Answered number. Hello.."I'm sorry"....then the caller hung up. Must be a computer calling to leave a ringless voicemail or something. When you answer they disconnect?? Just thinking here.

Just got the same call from number. Answered and I said “hello” some guy said “I’m sorry” I said “sorry?” And they hung up

Called and Said I'm sorry keeps calling back

Same thing to me, an old man or woman saying "I'm sorry" and hanging up. Super weird.

Got call, did not know the number but answered with "hello" after a few seconds someone said "I'm sorry" and hung up.

Didn't bother answering, as my phone alerted me it was suspected spam. Only rang a few times, then hung up. No message left.

Mental case, clearly. As others have reported the caller (live or computerized voice) says, "Sorry," the immediately disconnects. My suspicion is that the call is to find active numbers and that the voice is computerized. If it were an actual human they would eventually expand beyond "Sorry."

Either way the person or people behind the call are mental. Aren't scammers mental?

Called my cellphone -- Hiya says: Scam or Fraud -- whitepages.com says: Invalid number.

I just got one also from this number. Blacked and reported. On Tmobile.

call back ring scam, you call back because you are stupid and need to know who it was calling u, then u see a nice charge for $$$ a minute, old scam

This phone is most likely used to test whether or not you are a human, then they pass the number off to other companies to call you telemarketing calls. Block the number and do not call them back.

Just got a call and they hang up, I checked and found Solomon Island?  don't know anyone there
