- Ali| 2 repliesSorry to disappoint all of you but this really is legit. When this indian lady who could barely speak english called me about a job with ups that i hadnt even applied to, i didnt really trust her, but i need a job so i took the chance and went to the interview and everything, it's real, it's a ups call center. I even listened to some calls with some agents before the interview. But I go to school in the afternoons and ups wouldn't work with my schedule, so i decided not to go with it. When i called the indian woman back to tell her i wasnt going to get the job she was really rude about it, so unprofessional. Anyways, ASK Staffing is not at all that helpful, and neither are they're recruiters, so rude.

- LizI have, NO JOKE, received a 9 calls from this number in less than a day. I did not call back after the first message as something seemed off about the voice mail. I am glad I listened to my instincts. after the eighth call I answered, I did not give them a chance to speak. I said I have received multiple calls from you today. DO NOT call this number again! and hung up. And what would you know? They called me again! Seriously!? I have also received an email from them after every call. Obviously they are not legit. No company would harass someone to get them to work for them.

I can not believe how low a human being can go?
Their phone number that showed on my caller ID was not normal. I told the Indian guy why does your number shows weird? He said "I am making internet call"

- Noël BWGot a call from this number today. I didn't answer it since I didn't know who it was. My motto is if it's important and legitimate (I'm looking for a job) then they will leave a message. They didn't leave a message. Glad I looked up the number. As a former business owner, in a hiring capacity for 17 years of my career, in all fairness and professionalism, if you're looking for people in the US market, you need to speak clearly and proper English.

- John M replies to Ali| 1 replyLike Ali above, I also hate to disappoint you but ask staffing is a real agency and seem to be owned by a company in India. They have been driving people in Las Vegas nuts for a couple years because they supply UPS with call center customer service reps. The funny part is when the lady calles you won't understand a single word she says and the guy is almost as bad. I once became so frustrated with him on the phone I told him people who butcher the english language as bad as they do should be deported. He did like most people with a thick accent do, talk faster. I even sent an email to his corporate office asking them how they expect us to understand them and it went unanswered. They really do have jobs and if they call you for a customer service position and you're interested the next email will be a prove it test where you will take a basic windows xp test and a 3 minute typing test. Good luck understanding them if you pass the test and need directions to your job assignment. One more thing, their UPS jobs in vegas pay $12.50 an hour

I'm not sure how 10900 Wayzata Blvd got mixed into the address but I seem to remember a small street around mandaly bay that sounds like that - AinKI also received a voice message & email from Nagamani from ASK Staffing. I checked the email to get the call back number as the one that was left on my phone was incoherent and I could only make out part of the message. When I called back, she answered (also extremely poor English and hard to understand) and I asked about the job. I explained my wage requirement per month and she said she had a job that would pay me near it, it was part time, for a 12 month contract. All was fine until she started telling me about how they required background checks and drug screenings, which I am totally fine with, and then she proceeded to ask for my birthday and SSN. ***RED FLAG!!*** NEVER give your SSN over the phone or internet, birthday maybe, but not SSN. Its not something you HAVE to do if you live in the US. I declined to give the number and instead of saying she understood, she started pressuring me to give my number or I couldn't be processed to get the job. I refused and declined the job possibility.
After the call, I did research on giving the SSN, found some helpful information - Part five of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Background Checks, states:
"Under the FCRA, the employer must obtain the applicant's written authorization before the background check is conducted. The authorization must be on a document separate from all other documents such as an employment application."
I emailed her again, this time being polite and professional, explaining that I would require a face-to-face interview and a written letter of a job offer contingent on completion of a successful background check. I also included the above quote from the FCRA. I have not received an email back, nor do I expect one as I am almost certain this is a scam.
Remember to be smart out there when job hunting and do your research on EVERY company. Don't give personal information over the phone - EVER. Best of luck to everyone looking!- Caller: ASK Staffing
- ValerieI received a call from Priya Sindhu from (direct number) 678-250-9929 stating that a large fortune 500 company wanted to hire me right away and requested my social security number. Sadly I sent it after going to the website...never a call back. I'm involving an attorney now!

- ShellI also recieved a call from 6782509928 direct line and office 6783172819. I found this very weird as I also had a very difficult time understanding Rajeshwar Reddy. He stated in conversation that a very prominent company in Georgia NCR was recruiting for a Dispatch Analyst. Now I am employed at Comcast as a Dispatch ATC..he stated that it was good pay, an insult at 11 per hr. I advised that I would not consider a position that is paying entry level wages especially with my experience. He advised it is negotiable..anyway my antenna is up on this as I received multiple calls and emails regarding this position. I researched further and was not able to find a current job opening for that job description at NCR. Yes the company is hiring, however not for the job description that this Ask Staffing contacted me about. Please be careful and do not give out any information. FYI..I also found it hilarious that some of the Job description and duties sound quite familiar to what was written on a very old resume that was posted years ago on careerbuilder..so things that make you go hmmm????

- Author| 2 repliesI actually had pretty good success with Ask Staffing, it's a legit company http://askstaffing.com/about.html based in Georgia, providing staffing services to a number corporations. The person who contacted me was very understandable. First he spoke with an accent but I politely asked him to speak slowly and it was clearer. I too received and email reference our conversation and it was for a position they were filling at a fortune 5 company in my area. I submitted my resume and 4 weeks later I got the Job with excellent pay, and I am still employed with that company.

- Frankie Henry replies to Hmpf!!I did not recieve a call from this number but it was given to me by my best friend who her friend gave it to her...I was just about to call but I decided to check other numbers that have been harrassing me.. I really need a job but I did see something quite fishy about another company called Insight Global...I went to a interview one day and came home like an hour later this number called me 619-272-5570 telling me they have a job for the same company I just left the interview with. I informed her I just came from their in the classes won't start until May 15th, 2013. She sounded kind of stunned and umprepared for that answer, but followed up I can send your info to them and I was like ok I guess it couldn't hurt. Well, this week she had called me back told me the company was really interested in hearing from me and she needed my social so she can do her background checks...I like a dummy gave it to her and she wanted me to fill some paperwork out thse emailed with a signature and fax it back..But now her and her whole company has called me literally 15 x's from different numbers. I think it is a scam for sure no company has bothered to call anybody back as much as they have. here are the numbers they have been calling from 760-777-2173 comes up Rhonda Meadows when you call back a guy named Max answers 727-638-6338 name shows up as Solar Tite Incorporated 661-748-0240 kaitlynnscf and 763-252-0600 Insight Global. I hope I did not do something that can hurt me.

- KrystalOk I just got an email from this place but thank you Allah for bringing me to this site because I have been continuously contacted by multiple Indians claiming that they have found my resume on job boards and that they have positions for me but not to sound racist but I have been skeptical because they have weird phone numbers and American names and they're Indian and its like come on now I have been around Indians and they have had Indian names so I'm not beat. But what is pissing me off more is the fact that I need a job and these people are wasting my time getting my hopes up and they are just trying to scam me out of my information. Its ridiculous how low down these people are.
