Ignored a call from this number.  Looked up these notes and thank goodness I didn't answer.  God, I hate these freaking scammers!!!

This guy was out of Toledo OHIO and they told me they knew where my stolen 1968 Camaro was and had me drive 10 hours to get it. He got his mother involved and she was in on the scam. Described my car perfectly and said the guy who stole it wanted a deposit on the car. They were very believable and extremely good liars. The acted like they really wanted to help you out. Even picked them up at what we thought was their house at 11 Kenilworth Toledo Ohio where there were kids running around. If it is to good to be true, it probably is. 20 hours of driving time and out $1500. They are good! Hats off to them they got me and i'm not an easy guy to fool. We have the police watching them.

If true, seems to me you're are an easy person to fool.  Who'd fall for such a trick?  Dangerous too, if what you said actually happened.

I'm thinking this is a ghost story.

If I read this right, with no real evidence other than a vehicle description, you gave a perfect stranger $1500.  Worse, this person  apparently admitted being somehow connected to the car thieves.  And you actually drove these guys around?  Do you realize how dangerous that was?

I received a call from this number today.  When I answered (yes I have friends in Georgia) dead air then a Synth voice said goodbye.  When I called it back Verizon informed me that they couldnt connect me to that number I should check the number and try my call again.

Never call back!

Either the caller is legitimate or he isn't.

If he is legitimate, he will leave a message.

If he is not legitimate, the number on your caller ID:

A)  May be spoofed, so you might be calling an innocent person, or;
B)  May be a number that the scammer uses to verify valid numbers, so all you are doing is confirming your number is valid.

I still can't see why anyone calls back!

The caller probably was not in Atlanta, GA but in India or Pakistan or somewhere else outside the country.  The call was probably placed using VoIP and the number was spoofed.

Just how do you expect the government to stop someone in India calling you over the internet using VoIP?

Got a call from this # and knew it as a scam but played along to see what it was all about..I must be bored! A man in very broken English  gave me a long speech to tell me I was eligible for a grant. Then he gives me a claim ID and a # to call--202-621-0386. That's when I burst his bubble and told him he was full of s**t and I knew it was a scam and to never call me again. He said "how an you say that?" to which I hung up.

Said they were from the federal fraud department   From what I could understand .  When I asked to speak to someone that I could understand  I got hung up on .

Got this call twice now. Answered the first call but no one on the other end spoke and no automatic recording played either, just silence. Eat Here! WTH...

Didn't leave a message. CallerId was Atlanta GA.

Have been Getting calls every day from the alternate # 678-365-0478. Blocked that one, and this idiot redialed me on his other number 678-365-0480. Would love to report him (Caller ID is Altilio M) This is harassment!

got a call from this Number about 5 minutes ago, they had a woman on the line who said she was with Windows Tech and that my PC has popping up on their server saying that I have virus, little did they know that they where talking to someone who has been in the PC Tech Industry for 3+ years and doesn't even own a Windows PC (I use Linux so), So I tried to mess with them a bit by asking, ok if I'm connected to your server then what is my IP address and who is ISP, she responded with "no one can see your IP address but yourself" Which is a total lie haha, then she proceeds to tell me that They where working with my local ISP... I then asked her what is the name of the company that provides me my Internet access, then she tell's me to shut the hell up and I said no I rather not and caller her out on her bullcrap, She started cursing her head off calling me many 4 letter words while I just sat there and laughed, she said this was a professional call and I was like no it's not because you just cursed me out you dumb@$$, she then threatens that she will find me and kill me and I said you can try but we both know that will never happen, I then hang up on her with a huge grin on my face haha that's what these asshats scammers get, if someone says they are Technical support / Windows Support / or are from Microsoft hang up immediately, if you do plan to stay on the line with them troll the hell out of them and waste all their time as much of it as you can.

Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback reached a Ring No Answer. Other recent posts indicate this is a bogus Microsoft scammer.

Caller ask for a "potential Employee" and name, everytime they call its from a new number....
First time 225-500-0244 (Eat Here ID) appeared
Second time 678-365-0480

Caller ID says EAT HERE. No voicemail left.

These people are from a ddossing, scamming, hacking group. There Twitter is @starpatrolling.
They have been harassing me for a long time now and I guess there first call to start spam calling my parents they for got to dial *67 . Bewares of this group as they are nothing but criminals and please report all info on them to the FBI under a case named star patrol internet crime. If they ask how you know about the cases existance tell them the person that origanlly had the case open told you to update them. My name will stay unknown for my own safety.
