I have no doubt that the organization is a wonderful one, but their telemarketing campaign crosses the line when calling my home phone at 9pm nightly. In poor taste and will create ill will.

We receive calls from this number daily and when we do pick up they hang up. My husband just left a message on their answering machine asking them to take us off their calling list. We'll see if that works?

If they are a legitimate non-profit organization they need some help in their fund-raising strategy. Calling potential donors non-stop and hanging up when they answer probably isn't going to get you many donations.

These people ask for a Donation & say leave it on the porch you ask what time are you coming they have no answer just leave it on the front porch or driveway. Yeah ok can I get a time before you rob me.

They call and hang up on my voice mail. It's really irritating. I would not give money or clothes to them in a million years.

They call, and leave no message. They call, and hang up when you answer.

Hope House is at it again....I recieved 5 calls from this number tonight, starting at  8:30 p.m. and continuing until 9:32 p.m.  I thought calls after 9:00 p.m. were a violation.  

Hope House, if you are listening....you'll never get a donation from this household.

We get 4 or 5 calls from these people a day.  I wouldn't give to them if they were the last organization in the world.  We give to different organizations and a call once a month would be good enough.  I am fed up with the constant harrasment from these organizations looking for constant handouts.  How much do they think we have to give away all the time.

This agency keeps calling our house around the clock.  They are, in fact, calling our house, so at least I don't have to speak with them, but they need to quit harassing us.  We are on a do not call list, and even if they are a charity, they need to act properly and not harass people.  Other charities solicit donations in more appropriate manners.  I'm certainly not donating anything to a charity functioning as a stalker.

We are not saying yes to donating to your charity.  We already have another one, and your incessant phone calls to our fax are infuriating.  Even if I had a garage full of donations, I wouldn't give to this charity, because I don't like your stalking behavior.  Lay off the phone calls.

We are aware that the calling campaigns doesn't work for everyone and we are happy to remove those numbers upon request. For others it is a easy way to give back and make a difference and it does generate resources for employment, housing. childcare, education, counseling, whole life coaching, for women who are trying to rebuild their family's lives coming out of DV.

Two of our mothers, one with four children, the other with three, just completed their certified nursing assistant education and are now close to employment in that industry. They came to us eight months ago from the local DV shelter. These educations were scholarshiped from the clothing drive resources. (plus much of their livelihood while with us.

Again, I know there are other methods, and this one is not perfect (it has some glitches) but generally overall, it works and provides a win-win. Thank you, Gregg Kennard (executive director)

I got a call from this number this evening asking for clothing donations.  Half way through the call, the line went dead. The caller (a female) said they were calling from HOPE and were located in Lawrenceville.

I get name and number on caller ID but no one says anything when they call, and they call often. Just got another call and once again no one said anything so, took care of the prob and added the number to my blocked call list.

We give to many Atlanta-area charities, but to call EIGHT times in 2 hours is just ridiculous (not to mention every day before that). Having worked with the American Kidney Services, I know that they can be reported if they call more than 3 times in one day and that they are NOT allowed to leave a message, but repeated calls during dinner and family time are a huge nuisance. Next time they call, they're going to get an earful about their unprofessional behavior.

maddening consistent calls and they won't say anything when I answer. last "charity" I would ever give anything to, what a bunch of idiots!!!!!!

Every day this number calls... had to google it to get an area code.  I called it and went straight through to voice mail. I won't donate to someone who feels the need to harass ... not a good way to get donations.

I answered the call BUT when i said HELLO there was no response.  HMM I'm wondering if maybe the women at HOPE HOUSE are hoping a MAN WOULD ANSWER.

I have referred you to the BBB as you are annoying and your people are rude.  I have blocked your number as have most people as you can plainly tell.  My advice to any battered woman is to never seek your assistance as you SUCK!  A) get a freaking number with your name on it, B) if you have been told no or not to call again that does not mean increase the frequency on of your calls, as you should know NO MEANS NO!, and C) Get better phone reps if you ever expect to receive any kind of help.

I donated to the HOPE House earlie this year and was glad to do it.  Now I get calls daily with no message.  If they would just leave a courtesy message and give me the option to call them back if I have things to donate they would get a lot further than calling daily.  
Just as annoying as all the other telemarketer and doesnt make me want to donate to this particular charity as important as it may be.

Please note that I am registered on the "Federal No-Call" list and I continue to get these calls.  Additionally, I have explained to the callers numberous times to please have my telephone number deleted from the system to no avail.
