I live in Texas and just started getting these calls.  Four in one day.  Problem is, they never let my phone ring more than twice.  I never answer an unknown call.  Very weird.  On my caller ID it come up as NMA Inc.  I have no clue as to what is going on.

If you write them and tell them to stop calling, by law they are suppose to stop. Keep a copy of your letter.

I believe this to be a big scam.  Person calling asked if my husband was running from the law after he had asked me personal questions & I refused information.  Said he had been trying to contact him about some deal & was getting no response.  All of this is untrue.  Person said he was calling from Brick Communications, but ID read MNA INC.  He gave his name as Kevin Barbee and said that it was urgent that he be called back.

Get this call daily.. I figure they're trying to reach someone who used to have my number.. irritating to say the least.

Received call on my cell phone.This call was for my niece and her 1 year old daughter.  It sounds like their collecting on a medical bill.  I told the lady this was not their number and she stated she would remove this number from that account.  Hopefully, that's the last time this place will call.

I just received a call from this number asking for my ex-daughter-in-law, I would like to know how they got our number, it has been changed and I haven't seen or talked to her in 5 or 6 yrs. Where the heck are they getting our numbers from? It's really, really irritating. I live in La. and I have *77, if they hang up on me and I push this *77 they are totally blocked from calling my number...check into it where you live, it works.

Left a voicemail on adult mother's phone (me). The message said to not listen to the message if I was not my son. My son called back, was told he owed $2800 in a bill for medical services received when he was a minor. The man explained to him it automatically became his debt when he turned of age and that my son had a statement of liability when services were rendered (as a minor)...is anyone believing this?  He told my son he needed to pay the money by Friday or he'd be reported to the credit bureaus.  I called him back and told this guy there would be no further discussion, he needed to send proof of debt and he said he didn't have to. I told him he and I sure had a different understanding of legal rights.  He talked over me and said have a nice day and hung up.  My son called back and asked for him. The man who answered the phone said the original man was at lunch (445 pm Atlanta) even though no more than 60 seconds had lapsed. Same voice, same extension, but the guy pretended he was someone else. When my son explained what happened, the guy made the mistake of lapsing into personal pronouns and said "I didn't say that". I then advised him there had never been any attempt to collect a debt by sending my son a bill here. It was my spouse who didn't live here.  He said he'd send proof it was my son's and asked for our address. I told him he could look it up and to have a nice day.

They keep calling me,  called several times yesterday from this number and another number  6785781808.  I keep telling them I dont have money, they keep harrassing.....I have a lawyer named John who is gonna help me.  It is really getting bad. So sick and tired of National Account Recovery harrassing me and all the others they harrass daily.  
I am a injured soldier , and rescently had my vehicle stolen.  Time for action.....

This number called me too, I told em to suck it though and to shove what ever bill they were talking about up their you know what, haven't heard from them again yet.

Perhaps that attorney can sue THEM....if he's not a consumer attorney, talk to one.  Sounds like some bottom feeders to me.  Good luck.

If you are going to do a phone scam, at least dial the right person. Companies are waisting a lot of money paying these callers to harass anyone and everyone. I have lost count of the calls today.

they keep calling and don't give who they are

This number came through my business line. Never seen it before. My caller ID listed the name as VITAL. Google search brought me here. Placed into my Person-to-Person Interceptor ID block list. This unit has been long sold out and discontinued. But it works for the most part.

Rec'd a call from this number today (678-578-1800). Since I didn't know the number I did not answer it. Call went to voicemail-National Medical Administrators, a Ms. Harris left a message (after the "3 second pause" to reject call) to call 877-604-1800 ext 1943. Nice to know that a voicemail recording can accept a debt collector call for someone. This is an insurance issue, not calling back & blocking number on my cell phone.

678-578-1800- constantly calls and will not leave a message. I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  They need to leave messages if they want to talk to someone.

This person called my place of employment which I know is against the law.

It is against the law---only after you have written and told them your employer does not allow these type of calls. This is your right under the FDCPA:

(a) COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONSUMER GENERALLY.  Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt --

at the consumer's place of employment if the debt collector knows or has reason to know that the consumer's employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication.

National Recovery Assets is a SCAM! These are frauds working out of different locations- fake addresses out of midwest and southern USA. They try lots of things; debts owed on Credit Cards, Sweepstakes winnings, payday loans.  A legitimate debt collection company will give you an account number and you will have received a letter with the original debt.  ALWAYS verify with the credit card, loan company, etc before talking to any of these people!  They have a fancy looking website which is also a fake!

First off, I am ill and am currently undergoing many surgeries and am unable to work. I have received many calls up to two in one minute, several times a day from this number. I finally had a message and called the 866 number back and they stated they were collecting for Arcadian, an ambulance company, from when I had a massive seizure  at work. What was odd wad that they were asking for over $1600 for a one way transport, also I have never received ANY correspondence from Arcadian. I have been reading concerning these scams and I am worried that this company is not in any association with Arcadian.. Of course, I could not contact Arcadian.. Yet when speaking to my insurance PPO that does not cover this, they stated that was far too expensive and I should do my research.. This is why I am here asking if anyone else has seen this number associated with medical services.. They had all of my info including where I was transported ton and from.. The charge does not include any fees (they stated). I am very ill and told them I would check my credit once I achieve employment and contact them from my credit report. Yet, I am still receiving these calls. Anyone familiar with this issue?
