KEEP GETTING CALLS

I just recd a v/m from these scammers that said,  "Press 1 to modify your home loan, or 2 to be removed from our call list." Only troubleis, I have already modified my loan, & I didn't pick up on it until the V/M was completed??!! If they want you to c/b from the v/m, why don't they leave a c/b #??

I swear that the phone companies sell our phone #s even if you pay to have it unlisted.

Was getting 15-20 of nonsense calls a day from unknown callers since late Sept 2010, they would get the answering machine & just hang up...but kept calling.  Found that by not using the answering machine, the calls ring & ring but eventually they dwindled down to 5-6 a day with different UK callers.

The do not call list is absolutely worthless. Maybe we should all contact this bureaucratic agency at the same time as well as our governmental reps as getting rid of them for getting paid for doing nothing would be one way to cut the budget

All these unwanted calls are more than a nuisance to handicapped or ill people.

One dimwit soliciting for a debt consolidation company in Nevada said he had the right to call because they sent me some mail.  Told him to take me off his list as I am on the do not call list.  He called me right back & said he cannot take me off the list because he needed my name & address!  ???  Just do not use the answering machine & do not pick up to any one calling with an Unknown caller ID.

I got this call today, but I would not let them harass me, I would definitely be able to keep up with his rudeness. I was young once too ha ha I remember some big words like FU and STFU and stuff like that hahaha. This is childish but it is fun. To the lady above if he yells at you yell back, if he calls you call them back have fun with it. I certainly will.

Thanks to Jeff for the link to file a complaint.  These kinds of calls to my business are so annoying!!  I urge anyone receiving calls from this number to file a complaint!

well i keep blocking these numbers and they just keep calling from a different number ? how do we stop them , i never answer but i keep having to block them over and over again ....

i'm getting tired of this!! there should be a law or something against these activities....

automated unsecured debt call.  they call my company cell phone several times a week!  what can i do to stop this?

Same as all the rest, new number, scam call to consolidate and get rid of debt (sure, already!) Get calls from several numbers..I block and report 'em as I get 'em.

Hi i got too many calls like this # and i find a solution when ever any body  call  from # like ( or out of area call for me ) i start speaking insane chines + Spanish +  Hindi +Tamil++++++ all baby talk and that,s it quick fix never got call again from them just make them believe you do not speak a word of English

I have found it effective to make this type of call into a REVERSE OBSCENE PHONE CALL. I do what ever I have to to get to a live person on the other end, and as soon as they come online I start with a string of obscene suggestions regarding almost every part of the caller's anatomy. When they protest I simply remind the caller that THEY CALLED ME!  The more they protest my suggestions, the nastier I get. They usually hang up right away. I love it when I get a middle eastern male. They go crazy when I make homosexual suggestions to them. I get a chuckle out of the whole thing knowing that the caller will ALWAYS remember their call to me. LOL!  Hey, When you've been snowed in for a couple of weeks you have to take every opportunity to break the boredom.

I have been getting calls from these THIEVES for over a YEAR, they are all the same people, debt relief, google, you won something, on and on, they change their number often, but the calls alway come from colorado or North Dakota.  I have turned them into the FCC but found out that these people are scammers and not a legitimate business, they are actually working here gathering info and sending it overseas, these freaks need to be STOPPED.  What you need to do is file a complaint to the FTC they are the ones who go after companies that are scammers, they need a certain amount of people to contact them to start a investigation.  Here is the website.

Remember people once they have your number they never stop, they just show up as a different number but the same 2 states.

ROBOCALL from www.consumerdebtadvocate.com trying to sign up suckers for their debt settlement program. They called yesterday from a different #.
