Just received call saying They were sorry to inform me that my MC had been locked to press 1 to talk to someone in their security department to get it rectified!  Don't do it! SCAM SCAM SCAM - my bank calls/writes me in person and knows how to contact me knowing we have a password set up...  Sad!

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number. It said something about a credit card, so I hung up. We have been getting calls on our home phone that was a different number with the same message. They want you to press a number. I don't do that. I also have not given anyone my cell phone number! Is there any way to STOP THESE PEOPLE?  PLEASE  HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey, i just recieved a call from 701-509-8703 telling me my Master Card has been locked, i don't even have  Master Card.  said to press 1 to unlock or 2 to leave locked. i hung up and called it back and got a recording saying that if i pressed 1, i wouldn't recieve any more specialty offers.  i pressed 1, it said thank you and disconnected..... really do wish there was something that protected people from this kind of crap.

The first time I got a call from this number, the recording claimed my "Visa credit card has been locked". I have multiple Visa cards, so I pressed the option for more information to figure out which account it might have been talking about.

At this point, the recording started skipping and slowed down (like their computer wasn't even powerful enough to play back their recording) and wanted me to enter my entire credit card number. I immediately hung up because it was clearly a scam.

I received another call from the same number a few weeks later. I didn't answer, but a couple hours later, I got a call again. Out of curiosity, I answered it this time, and the recording claimed my "MasterCard account has been locked". I do not have a MasterCard account.

got a call from this number at 8:15 pm but did not answer!

Received several calls. One call indicating that my master card account had been suspended or locked and that I needed to take action to reactivate my account. I hung up and contacted my real master card company to verify that there was no problems with my real master card account. Received two calls from this number in a single day and both times left an automated response that I wanted to be taken off of their list. After the second call, I filed a formal complaint with the FCC as my cell phone number is on the national do not call registry. I also suspect that the parties using this number (701-509-8703) also used 702-262-9800 one month earlier (I also left two threatening messages with this number warning them not to contact me again or I would file a formal complaint). Both numbers were listed as part of my formal FCC complaint.

I got a call from this number this evening claiming my MC was locked.  It stated I needed to press 1 to get more information.  I hung up!

I just got the same call this evening. The robotic voice said my Mastercard had been locked and to press 1 to unlock it. When I pressed 1 (just out of curiosity - I don't have a Mastercard), the voice asked me to type in my 16-digit card number. There was no option to talk to an operator. Impressive scam.

This number is calling Credit Union customers in Iowa telling them that their account has been locked and then asking for private information.

This caller is really annoying it comes several times a day and rings at least !@ times! when I pick up there is no one there !is there any way of stopping this?

Got this call March7, 2011 at 1:30 Atlantic time. They left no message.

Been receiving this call on my cell phone at least once a week.  Have never answered it.  Is there a way of reporting this to the authorities at all..RCMP perhaps?

Rec'd a call from 701-509-8703.  The guy sounded middle eastern and stated he was froma market research firm, and if I had a few minutes.  I stated no.  I asked for a canadian operator, ( I'm located in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada ) , and he hesitated and asked me if I had a couple of minutes to wait while he seeks one.  I said no.  I asked him how he got my number, as I am on the do not call list.  Told him not to call again, and take my name off his call list.  I then hung up.  I suspect a scammer....

5 minutes later, same number called my cellphone, and I ignored this call.   If they are using area code 701, then their phone provider is re-routing the call through North Dakota to allow their scamming to work.

Got a call like others have reported.  No human.  Hung up.

They do handle healthcare, it's called Medicare/Medicaid, and it's very well run. Private insurance companies are making a complete mess of it and costing us all a fortune. Healthcare should never be a for-profit business, just pay the healthcare professionals well and to hell with insurance companies.

Yes, received call too stating my credit card had been suspended....push one to re-instate.  Right !

Just received a phone call from this number 701-509-8703.  They said we were in the running for a $1200 GE wireless security system from completing a survey on the smoke detectors in our house.  No one in our house completed a survey.  When I told this female we weren't interested after she tried to explain a second time, she hung up before I could hang up on her.  We are also on the do not call list!

1-701-509-8703 called my cell twice today and then my home phone...and left a message as like someone was saying "BOO" but drawn out.
