701-509-8703

Two calls on my cell phone, which I did not answer because I had left the phone in the car. They did not leave a message.  I rarely use my cell phone, and give the number out even less frequently, so I don't know how they got my number.  Also, I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada. Wierd.

got call from "201" 1 and 1/2 hrs ago about my card being locked.  now i just got this "701 509 8703" saying theyre with "wesbonco" like theyre britts and cant pronounce the "a" of wesbanco.  automated voice said my card had been locked and press"1" to unlock and speak with a represtative.  I just let them hang up at 27 seconds of the call duration.  i don't have any business with wesbanco.

Ya I got the call 3 times now, twice in one day another one a few days later.. I'm from Dartmouth Nova Scotia Canada and I have no idea who from ND would be calling me I have not answered any of the call and will not from reading the responces here.. I wish there were some way home and cell numbers can be not listed at all.

I got one just about 15 min ago saying that my West Banko account was over-drafted. WTF. I dont even use that bank.

I received a call on my cell phone.  Don't know anyone in ND and I felt that it was scam as well.

just got the same phone call AT WORK...dont have a wesbanco account and was told my account was locked...must be a scam....

Got a call from '201' to my cell. Said my Wesbanco account was locked and that I needed to press 1 to speak to their Security Dept. Um, I don't think so. Hung up. Googled and found this thread.

I got the Same robo call that said my master card had be locked. I got the same one earlier in the day from a different number 214-272-2596

I get a call from this number daily sometimes 2x per day, I never answer says from North Dakota, I live in Nova Scotia

I just got a call,,I live in Canada!!!! I didn't answer. This is CRAZY!

Definately a scam.  Automated system called my cell and told me that they were sorry that my WAMU card had been lost, please press 1.  
As SeattleGirl said, WAMU is no longer with us, and I do not have an account with CHASE who purchased WAMU. I simply hung up.

NOTE - if they keep calling your cell (if you cannot block a caller), assign the ring tone of MUTE to that number, just an idea ;)

This number has called me four times in the last nine days. Three of those times has been in the past three days. I don't answer.

i have received like 25 calls since Feb 9 from this number, I refused to pick them up because i don't want to get charged for long distance numbers, so today I finally picked up because i was not in class or at work, I got a lady, sounded eastern European, and she asked if  I had a few minutes to partake in a market research, I said no I don't, stop calling and put me on your do not call list, you call while i'm in class and at work and that is not okay.

It was an automated call (supposedly) from Washington Mutual Bank (which has been out of business for a few years telling me that my debit card with them has been locked, which I never had a debit card with them even before they went out of business and I haven't even had an account with them since 1999.

I hung up and filed a complaint on donotcall.gov

Got a robo call this morning at 9:30. They said Master Card security. I waited. They hung up.

Repeated calls from 701-509-8703 on my caller id. Finally picked up to see what its about. Immediately  demanded my number be put on "do not call" list. Line mysteriously went dead. 701 exchange is in North Dakota. North Dakota is full of "call centers." These are often the only jobs left because government policies (BOTH Republican and Democratic) have sent our manufacturing jobs overseas. These outfits will take on any client. Laws protecting consumers from this kind of harassment are meaningless because there's no enforcement  -- Not like the billions spent annually to lock up innocent pot smokers. Get used to it, we're on our own, government having long ago abdicated in favor of corporate rule of America. Scott Walker is a jerk. Labor Unions took down the Soviet Union (Lech Valensa, Solidarity Forever!)

Received a call very early this morning from this number on my cell! It is an identity theft scam trying to obtain cred card information from consumers. Please fill out a complaint with the FCC:

Received a call from this # and it was a recording claiming that my Washington Mutual debit card was frozen.   When called # back they say "If you would not like to receive information on our special promotions and would like to be put on our do not call list, press 1"... Must be phishing for info because Washington Mutual is no longer around, it was taken over by Chase.  So annoying!

1 919 754 8077  Computer voice Wamu card locked,  Please press 1 to unlcok.
Then repeatedly Please enter your 16 digit card number .  I just repeatedly pressed 0 to no effect.

This number has been calling my cellphone two to three times per day for about two weeks now. I never pick up unknown numbers and they never leave a message.
