Like somebody above said, I got a call claiming they were Washington Mutual, never had an acct with them, nor could I since they are gone

Master card scam call...  I don't have one!

Be careful of phone scams that ask you to press a number, they can steal your long distance.

Got call about WaMu card being locked. Asked to press #1 to talk to operator.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. Robotic female voice said my debit card has been locked - "Press 1 to reactivate".

I received a robot call on my cell phone # which I rarely give out.  The message said my Washington Mutual Card account is locked, press 1 to activate.  I've not been with WaMu for 5 or 6 years.

Received a call on my landline from this number at 11:45 AST. Woman with what sounded like an Indian accent. Claimed to be from a marketing resource company but wouldn't identify what company. Told her to remove me from her list and hung up.

I would say they are branching out on what they are trying to do

someone called from 701-509-8703, i picked up the phone, and i got a recorded voice saying goodbye.. has been calling my husbands cell phone also daily for the last two weeks.

got this call at 10:20PM! I did not answer but this is crazy that they are call this late at night!!!!!

I just got the same message. Who would be dumb enough to enter their credit card number?? LOL  what a total SCAM!!!

Dont answer these calls & please don't be dumb enough to enter your credit card number!!! This is a total scam... They say your account has been locked & press 1 to unlock it, when you press 1 it asks for your cc#... I of course hung up.. These people need to be stopped...

I just got a call at 2:15 AM saying that my Master Card had been locked and to press 1 to talk to a security person. I immediately hung up concerned that it may be a credit card scam.

They call us (Ontario, do not call list) - they do not leave messages

these people called my cell phone at TWO IN THE FREAKIN MORNING. hung up after 4 rings, and when i called back the automated service thanked me for returning the call and asked to press 1 to remove my number from their calling list, and then hangs up. god help them if i track down who it is and get a legitimate phone number to call!

They said my Master Card had been shut down and needed me to enter in all my information to unlock the card (I don't own a Master Card).

Received two calls from this number, ignored first one... two days later another called answered this one... "calling about a contest you entered"  Told them never to call number again and hung up.

Just called and caller ID said Minot ND 701-509-8703.  Hung up as soon as I answered.  Third such call today....all from different area codes and phone numbers.
