Just got a call from 701-509-8703;  Don't know the #, don't know the area code (now I know it's N Dakota) thus I don't answer the call.  If they know me, and really want me to call back they'll leave a message - if not, then tuff s**t on them.

Received a call from this # stating they were HSBC bank and my account was locked, to press 1 to get transferred to their security department.  Since I don't have HSBC I just hung up figuring this was an attempted scam.

SCAM! Automated recording called my work blackberry & said that my HSBC credit card has been locked. Don't have one...never had one. And if I did have one they wouldn't have my work blackberry in their records.

This stuff is so crazy,  Just got this phone call on my cell but didn't answer and came to this site to get the scoop.   I'd like to thank the dirt bag company that i purchased from that went and sold my phone number to all these scams.   I have never ever gotten calls involving unwanted services and stuff like this until i purchased an ab coaster at christmas time.  as soon as i did;  the phone calls began and haven't stopped since.  From scams like this to folks selling so called coupon books and discounted vacatioins.   Extremely frustrating.
