I just got a robo-sounding call from this number. The voice claimed to be HSBC bank, and said my debit card had been locked, and said to press 1 to talk to someone about it. (I'm not an HSBC customer.) I called back and got a non-HSBC message that asked me to press 1 if I wanted to opt out of future marketing calls. I elected to hang up and not press anything.

same as everyone above but i also received a string of text messages from a "cameron smith" mentioning the same thing. i don't even have an hsbc account. again, it's more a nuisance than anything else but not everyone has an unlimited txt-ing plan and these messages add up... make sure you call your carrier to have those charges reversed.

I also received an automated call from this number saying that my HSBC debit card was locked and that I should press 1 for the security department.  I too don't have an HSBC card -- so I waited to hear whether the message would play again.  It didn't, and the call ended by itself after 30 seconds.

yes, that's what the message said on my phone, your HSBC card has been locked, press 1 to be transferred to the security department.  i don't have an hsbc card and when i didn't press 1 the call was disconnected.
it came from a verizon cell phone in ND

Just received a call from 701-509-8703.  Was an automated machine asking me to press 1 to reactivate my LOCKED Bank account.  Then they asked for my card number to reactivate my account, so I hung up.  This is definately a phishing scam.

I received this call on April 7th and it registered as an Unknown number but it was from 701-509-8703,  
It definitely is a scam because they claim in their recorded message that they are transferring you to a Security department.  I have reported this call to donotcall.gov.  These types of alarmist calls are definitely a form of harrassment especially when they are calling your cellphone and appear as "Unknown" and do not identify themselves in the call.  I hope they are caught soon!

These people called my phone at 2am. That is crazy.

my wife and I received the same call this afternoon. Phishing scam. They claim to be Sandia federal credit union.

This number called me today.  It was an automated message from a credit union I don't belong to saying that my debit card had been lost.  They asked for my debit card number so I hung up.

Said they were from HSBS and to activate my account press 1.

Just got a call from the same # saying that my Sandia Lab debit card was locked.  This is a local lab in
CA, and I am not affiliated with them in any way, but I pushed 1 thinking I'd tell them they had the
wrong #, but they hung up.

I just got the exact same call...Sandia Labs Credit Union debit card; I am not in CA, but Sandia Labs is a local CU.  I didn't push 1, just hung up.

Well.... VOTE FOR JOE!! ... anyway. He's a good guy :-)

Recieved a automated call saying my Mastercard had been inactivated. Push one to re-activate. I pushed one out of curiosity, figuring it might be a scam. The auto-caller then asked for my Mastercard number. I then knew it WAS A SCAM. These people need to be hunted down and severly punished - at least tar and feather them......

This number has called repeatedly. I finally answered and waited quite awhile for it to speak. it was a recorded message saying that Sandia Labs credit Uinion was reporting my credit card had been stolen or something like that - it was a robot speaker and hard to understand and it hung up on me.! I only said Hello.

Obviosuly these people are crooks!!

At 6:35 am, Some [***] called my house (automated) claiming to be with the Sandia Federal Credit Union, and claimed that my debit account had been frozen, and to clarify the issue, I needed to enter my 16 digit number, and so of course, I entered a bogus number. The automated voice, had a slightly British sounding accent.-------And, WHY IS THIS LIST OF COMPLAINTS, SO LONG? WHY HAS THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY NOT BEEN TAKEN CARE OF???
