Got a call at 1:14 am EST . Did not get to it fast enough. Caller ID came up as unavailable. I hope that sombody can take the phone away from this rude individual who calls at this time of night.

Call on cell-phone.  Didn't answer.  No message.  Called back on landline back on land-line and got the "If you'd like to be removed from our preferred mailing list....." recording.  Obviously a SCAM, but I'm glad I found this site!

Just got this call saying debit card was locked, could not make out what bank name it was trying to say as automated. Hung up

I've got the same message on April 16th and informed my friends to avoid answering a phone call from this number.

just received a call from this number.  Caller ID said "Reset".  When  I answered someone hung up.  I am on the do not call list.

I got a call from this number on my ell phone telling me my debit card was missing and I was supposed to press 1 to speak with a reporesentative...I dont even own a debit card..must me a prank caller.

Got this call at 3am.  I answered and it was an automated recording saying that my Sovereign Debit Card had been lost!! I don't even have an account with Sovereign Bank. My husband's cell phone got the same call at 3:30am.  He did not answer and no message was left.

Perhaps it is time for the federal government to step in to stop this kind of harrassment, and find out who is behind this. They have the resources that apparently the state of North Dakota does not.  

I got the call at 2:35 AM which was very frightening--when I called the number back I got a recording asking that I press 1 to PUT THEM ON MY DO NOT CALL LIST!!!

My sister my cousin and I all got the same call around the same time last night. Saying our credit card has been locked. It was almost 10 PM. I was waiting for a call from my mother because my aunt was passing away. People do not call me this late at night so of course I thought the worse. I did press 1 because I thought I would get a real person. Someone was about to get an earful but all I got was another automated recording telling me to enter my 16 digit card number. They called my cell phone. It is a sad sad world when people resort to disturbing people in the middle of the night to try and steal their information.

I received a call from 701 509 8703 at 2:43 AM last night.  2:43 AM?@#$$%!!!

I did not find the phone quick enough.  After four rings; call ended.  I then called back and heard a recorded message to leave a message about my order but no identity as to the caller.

Such nasty behavior!

Got a call from this North Dakota number at 5:58 this morning - thought something was wrong wit my elderly parents. I was worried sick. I called back and they wanted my credit card info. I really hope somebody tracks these people down. And shuts them down. Phil

I just got a call from (701)509-8703 telling me my Soverign Bank Card was lost and to press 1 to speak with the security department.  I do not even have this type of card so I knew it was and is a SCAM and hung up!  Jerks!!U

Scam call. Got a call recorded voice advised atm card had been locked. instructed to enter atm card number. Yeah ok, I wish I could have instructed them to do something..........

Received a 2nd call from these [***]...on my business line.
I recently bought a Uniden phone that blocks "private," "unknown," "out of area" and any other numbers that you want to block.
So neat - when this call came in, I simply pressed "block" button and they go away - forever!!!
Note the Uniden phone is cheap and works like a charm! It costs around 60 bucks with a 2nd wireless handheld.
If everyone got a phone that blocks these scum - they would go away.
I also have a Panasonic phone that blocks numbers on my home line.
No more telemarketers!

Just got a call from that number....hang up immediately or don't call them back.

I was out and my husband called me to say that my debit card had been locked and to reactivate it,   press "1".  It was a North Dakota # so he immediately hung up.  I informed him that I just used my credit card about 3 minutes after the phone call.  I am glad that I checked this site.  And I am also glad that my husband had the sense to just hang up.  These people should try getting a real job!!!

I have gotten several calls from this phone number.  Since I didn't recognize the number I never have answered the call.  Of course, no message was left.  Interesting to read how many people have been pestered by this number.

You may be interested in reading a news release this office issued in May 2010, warning about scam telephone calls using spoofed North Dakota (701 area code) telephone numbers, at http://www.ag.nd.gov/NewsReleases/2010/05-25-10A.pdf. Since then, we have received reports from across the country of other scams using spoofed ND phone numbers.

Unfortunately, scam artists ignore state and federal laws, which is why the Do Not Call registry is not preventing these calls.
