Just recieved a call from this number on both my home phone and on my partners cell phone and my mothers cell phone and everytime we answered the phone would click and an automated voice would say goodbye, it was extremely wierd and odd! :S

master card locked, press 1 to activate.  have no master card.

I received a call on my cell this evening at 8:45pm local time 2011/02/28 and the male caller with an accent (and very poor reception) asked if I could hear him after I said hello 3 times afterwhich he said he was doing a survey....I told him I don't do surveys and hung up....

call just came into my pre-paid cellphone.. when I answered, they only said "goodbye".. guess they figured they weren't going to get something out of someone with a pre-paid cell.. lol

Female wanting me to participate in a survey. Declined!

I was at work and I missed the call with this number 701-509-8703. I didn't answer. I see now that I shouldn't ahve accornding to the recent messages that I just read. How would they have gotten my number in the first place??

Got a call from this number 701-509-8703 on my cell phone in Canada, did not answer as I did not recognize the number also would of been long distance.

Received a call saying my card was frozen, and to give them a credit card nuo unfreeze the card. No company name just asked for my card number. Come on now, REALLY???

yeah I just got a call from this number and they said "Ha-Row" said it was a market research company, there was an insane amount of static on the line and that is all I could make out

I too live in Nova Scotia and have been getting calls from this number to my cell phone.

I just got a call from this number. Never answered and I am glad I didnt!! Why would someone from ND be looking for a Girl from Nova Scotia on my cell phone. No clue how they would have got the number!!

I knew nobody from North Dakota.  Someone said hello, and asked about credit card info, and to press 1,   I hung up.

Never, ever, respond to calls or emails like these.  Try to get a call back phone number (do not call it) and name, as much info as you can get out of them.  Then hang up.  Call your bank, insurance company, whomever they are claiming to be, directly from an official phone number, and verify if the call was valid through them - often it will be a scam.  Some of these scams can charge your phone $1000's of dollars which you will then be liable for. Don't let yourself become a target.  

I've also noticed a lot of people complaining that they put their number on the Do Not Call List...scamers do not pay attention to this list!  Also, in Canada the rules are a little different...the Do Not Call list does not apply to valid Survey companies, but you can ask each of them as they call you to put your number on their own do not call list/or take number off calling list which they must do.

I just received a call from 201, it was an automated message saying my master card has been locked. said press 1 to unlock and then asked to enter my credit card number.......I do not have a Master Card......SCAM!!!

Got the same call from 701-509-8703.  Didn't answer.  Funny thing is I DO have a prepaid master Card, and the only place I've ever ever used it was on Full Tilt Poker.  BUT then again, nobody has my cell phone number, not even the Cash Store where I got the card.

Must be random dialing.  Sure hope they track it down

I too received a call from this number.  It is unidentified and I do not know anyone there.  Yuk.

Call received on my cell phone, an obvious solicitation from North Dakota. It's been reported that this was a scam, so I did not answer the phone, especially since I have a limited amount of time and this unsolicited call would have burned through them.

Last night, I received an automated phone message on my cell phone.  I am on the do not call list, by the way.  It said that my credit card (may have said VISA or MASTERCARD) account had been blocked, and to enter "2" to continue.  I suspected a fraud and hung up.  I thank whoever has this webpage, because it is very helpful to know that others have had similar experiences.  I will notify the US Attorney's office.
