- irritatedReceived multiple missed calls from this number. Trie.d calling them back it just keeps ringing. Going to block them
- frustrated replies to POedgot the same thing when i called except someone finally answered after 4 or 5 minutes, just then a co-worker needed something so i hung up on them. when they call me though... NO ONE IS THERE WHEN I ANSWER!!!!
- SMD replies to neeenjaI heard once that for some call centers, it is possible for them to call a number, you answer and then hang up and they can grab your dial tone and make a call on your tab. Seems plausable anyhow....I also get one that gives a caller ID with UTAH on it that does the same thing. Sometimes, I can hear breathing on the other end, so am convinced that they are calling the number for a reason.....I either don't answer them or lay the receiver down until they hang up and they eventually do. Heard a comment once that "they didn't hang up".
- DJGot the one ring phone call. Only hit redial because I got a lot of calls this morning. Pretty sure its a one ring scam. When it picked up it was elevator music. TRYING to call Verizon so I can let them know.

- ZBAuto dialer when answered ques call to call center person, thus many calls will be answered and nobody is there. Started lifting handset and setting it down and never speaking. Could hear person eventually come on the phone and the number of calls increased dramatically as they tried again and again for about a day, then the calls stopped forever. Apparently they finally coded it as a number that connects but cannot talk with anyone and stopped trying. Try this, be patient, and after a couple of days it will stop.
- Caller: Bismark ND
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SarahAnswered the phone with the greeting I use for the business and after saying it twice, they hung up. Not sure who they are but I'm tired of these people with different numbers calling businesses and hanging up. Answering these types of calls are wasting my time when I have work to do. I wrote down the number and will hang up next time they call.
- Caller: Don't know.
- DavidThey have been calling my house twice a day. I don't answer.
So much for the "do not call list"
I'm on all of them!!! Don't work for [***]!!! - Mattchuit was Apu Nahasapeemapetilon's wife, calling for my subscription to be renewed, told her im not interested any more, she is very persistant and started ratteling off my address, said i don't work there anymore because of layoff due to the ACA. i started crying and so did she as i told her my little girl is in the hostpital on life support and now we are being evicted from our home because we cant afford to pay the mortgage. told i have to go because she interrupted me as i was about to hang myself. told her goodbye. she wished me a good day. the nerve of some people. Meh!

- CFGot this one too. Figured it was someone from work given that it was around 7:30 AM which makes for another illegality.
Tried to call back and got the elevator music then googled the number.
A few folks mentioned that they gave these people information. Folks, you don't ever give information of any kind unless you are sure who you are giving it to and they have a need to know. I do information security for a living and there is a thing we call 'Social Engineering' which is a nice way to say scumbags tricking you into revealing data they can use to harm you. Many password reset functions out there for example will ask you security questions like mother's maiden name just like these bottom feeders. Always report them but if you are not in the middle of something go ahead and play with them, waste as much of their time as you possibly can and give them false information. The bottom feeder on the other end is not making a dime while you are wasting their time. My personal record is about 90 minutes of putting someone on and off hold before finally saying "OK, now I have time to talk.... please put me on your do not call list". - CRcaller id says Bismarck ND - I don't answer - they don't leave a message - they CONTINUE TO CALL!!!!! So frustrating!
- HospitalCold call from solicitor. CFO has been put on a mailing list after purchasing publications.

- RMI get a gazillion calls a week from this number! they are relentless! I called them back and got elevator music...I just don't answer. Some of my co-workers say they be trying to sale them magazines.....ugh!!!
' - Gilmer, TXAnswered call and didn't catch the name of the Co. The lady speaking, which was not good English, wanted to verify my company info for a free magazine issue in my industry. Verified mailing, email address and myself as the owner correctly. Call was about a minute or so and they weren't selling anything to me, just the basic correct info. I actually get several of these calls from different companies and #'s. As long as they have my info correct I'm good with it, because once these people get it incorrect it's a pain in the ass to get it corrected again. That was my experience with the call, I don't really get why people can't just answer a call anymore.

The cockroaches called TEN TIMES today, withing 6 hours, some calls at 6 minute intervals today alone. They also called once on 3/28 and on 2/27. I have a call blocker but it the phone rings once. I even finally called back, got elevator music, and then two rings while the call was transferred. This pattern of music and then two rings repeated twice more. I hung up.
Looks like these cockroaches are using robo IP-based calls with caller ID spoofing from a location most likely in the Caribbean.
Donotcall.gov is a stale ineffective joke.
Hey, since the NSA collects all our phone call records, maybe it's time for the FCC to request the NSA to locate the source of these "telephone terrorists" and send them a visit from a drone! <g>

- You're n idiot replies to messenger| 1 replyThe government is trying to break down our constitutional rights a little at a time. Because of people like u. If you are terrorized by phone calls see a shrink. Or download a messaging app that blocks anonymous calls. Quit asking the government to take care of u and start doing it yourself!
- Badge714 replies to You're n idiotAlthough I don't agree with how this person said it, they are correct. The Oregon trail was paved a long time ago. You don't need a trail master to take you. Pull up the boot straps chum, & take action.
- matrixunloadedEven though Caller-ID shows "North Dakota," these calls are generated from the following telemarketer:
ADS Global, Inc.

Block 3-C, Unit 21 & 22
Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica
On the second harassment call today (six minutes apart after ten yesterday), I ended a call and picked up on the (701) 557-9150 call and finally reached a supervisor, who said my number was being removed. It was for renewal of a "free" publication to which I never subscribed. After two phone calls to the source publication, they acknowledged they purchased my phone number from a third party vendor, some of which were the likes of Statistics, D&B and Epost, which apparently sells your data to publications without express consent. Then, for some reason, ADS thinks they can flaunt US law because they are off-shore.
Because of the honesty of the publication in this case (for which I never signed up and have now canceled my "free" subscription) and because the publication only recently hired this telemarketer, I will not embarrass the publication. They were instrumental in identifying the source of the harassment and probably naive victims of this company.
Final caveat. No legitimate business should employ ADS Global, which places over ten calls a day to a number on the donotcall.gov list and which has not consented to be contacted.
If you are contacted by them, just cancel whatever snake-oil they are selling. Pick up and tell them so.- Caller: ADS Global, Inc.
