I received a call from 701-626-5295 at my cell number. I thought making marketing calls to cellulars is illegal. If I receive another call I will report the number to the attorney general's office.

Go to  www.donotcall.gov  to file a complaint. I think I found a way to stop all calls when a real person answers. I took my smoke detector down and put it by my phone. I activate my smoke detector put the phone by the speaker, then answer the phone. It works most of time if a real person answers. When they lose there hearing they don't call back.

Recently got a call but didn't answer, came here to find out who it is.  I also had just put an ad on CL.

Thats funny but you know its a felony to make threats like that and your police department has to take it serius because if they dont and you do get hurt they get in trouble.Still very funny casino drunk ill have to use that one day.

Got a call from asking vacation questions.  Surprised it wasn't an auto dialing but definitely a scam or just a guy trying to hock vacations cold calling.

Called me today and said he was from anchor vacations.  Don't know how he got my number, never used craigs list before.  I just hung up.

I just got a call from this same number at 9:21 pm...WTF?

This idiot called me 3 times in a matter of 2 minutes.  I asked for his manager, he claimed he was one.  (This is the dolt with the Indian accent that everyone else has mentioned)  He yelled at me that I didn't even know why he was calling.  Then yelled at me that my sister told him to call me.  I don't have a sister.  I asked him for his US based headquarters and he gave me a bogus number in Kenosha, WI.  

I suggest everyone go to www.donotcall.gov and file a complaint against this phone number.  It's the only way anything can be done about these morons.

I getting call every few days from this #. Very polite lady with southeastern Asian accent. Telemarketing call related to hospitality industry few hours after placing ad on CL

Cell phone call on private line at 8:30pm. I have never used Craig List but did attend a Marriott Vacation CLub timeshare sales presentation. I am already a MVC owner so will be really mad if I find they have released my cell # for Marketing use!!!!

Didn't answer since I didn't recognize area code or number. Voice message was a lot of background noise.

Just got two calls from 701-625-5295, caller ID said IVITRIX.  Lots of background noise, but I managed to hear a Filipino lady's voice who said she was calling from here in Gurnee, IL  (although 701 area code is North Dakota) and said I won a 2 night 3 day stay anywhere in the country.  I asked her to remove my name from their list and when I spoke, there was a blaring noise until I stopped speaking, then she acted like she didn't hear me.  I hung up.  In other posts here, some folks mentioned that they think the calls are because of CraigsList.  I'm not on CraigsList.  I am however on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!!  How do these people get around that!!!

Thanks Adam for the Do Not Call Complaint website.  I just went on there and filed a complaint.  The people who make these types of nuisance calls need to be stopped.  I hope this helps.

Just got a call about a vaction package on same number - I'm in Ca + think the person has my number from Craigslist

Phone call from a woman with an Indian accent offering a free vacation gift package - wants to know when I've last been on a vacation. She was very polite. My cell number is on craigslist, San Diego today.

got a call today from aguy named michael, offering airline tickets asked me for email adress and other personal info. set up an appointment for wednesday 5/4/11 i just want the airline tickets. is it worth going???

called me on my cell phone which is unlisted and on the Do Not Call registry.  Said he was calling from Paradise Destinations.  asked to have my number removed from his contacts and hung up.  will file a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.
