Yep, they've been harrassing me for over a year.  Some nights they call 5 times in one night.  I'm sure it has to do with Craigs List, since it usually happens on nights when I list things on Craigs List.  They won't leave you alone, even if you ask them to never call again and tell them you're on the "do not call list."  They are horrible.  I'm probably going to sue them.

Just listed something on Craigslist and then started getting calls from this number.  I won't ever list my number online again.  Too bad for real Craigslist users.

call your phone company and block the calls

I posted for a roommate on craigslist and this same number just called my cell.. This guy is busy busy! I didnt answer tho.. and now after reading all your stories, glad i didnt! :)

Why didn't I google these weirdos sooner?  

I have another funny story to add to the mix.  Yes, I recently posted furniture on Craigslist.  Yes, it's a man with an Indian accent.  Yes, he wants me to attend a travel club presentation in order to receive a free gift (ha).  

Now for the specifics of my own tale of  woe.

The first time he called, it was a Sunday at 7:13 pm.  I asked him to bugger off and that I didn't appreciate receiving a sales call on my cell phone, especially not on a Sunday.  He laughed in the most bizarre way, apparently at my naive insistence that it was a sales call.  A few minutes later, I told him to bugger off and not call again.

Naturally....seven minutes later, my phone rings again.  I have my girlfriend answer it.  She entertains them and then tells me that it sounds harmless and that we should go and score our free swag.  A woman gets on the phone at this point and gives me a little sales pitch about the Marriott La Jolla here in San Diego.  Then they give us several dates to choose from and we honestly reply that we will have family in town so thanks but no thanks.  They let us off the hook and say that if more presentations are scheduled, they will let us know.

Since those first two calls:

Sun 5/22 - 2:30pm, 5:10pm, 7:40pm, 9:07pm
Mon 5/23 - 2:25pm. 3:25pm, 5:19pm. 7:45pm, 8:28pm
Tue 5/24 - 2:32pm, 8pm
Wed 5/25 - 4:02pm, 9:03pm
Thu 5/26 - 2:30pm

Sixteen calls in all.  I am going to let them know that if they call me again, I will report them to X, Y and Z.

I'm so glad I looked this up!!  I just posted furniture on Craigslist, too, so that's how they got my number.  I didn't answer and will call the phone company if they continue to call.  I'm so bummed because I love Craigslist!

Guy named Michael from the Phillipines just called me offering flight tickets too.  When he found out I was 17, he ensued in trying to get my full name & email so he could add me on facebook. I kept telling him that I didn't add people I don't know but he kept asking & wasting my time. Who does that!? So annoyed. After ten minutes of denying him my name, he told me to expect another all from him very soon. Wtf -___-

Just received a call from this number... when I answered nobody said anything so I decided to look it up on the net. Glad I did. I'll be reporting this also since I am also on the do not call list. I've never posted on craigslist before but I did receive a call this morning from a 760 number (which is also my area code)... going. To do more research to see if the 2 are related.

Within two hours of posting on Craigslist I received a call from this number, followed within 5 minutes by an unknown caller.  I didn't answer either.

Received 5 calls from this number today. Caller ID says IVITRIX.
first time I answered and got dial tone. Have been ignoring since. Did not leave messages.

This Phone # called me 2'x today once during the day around 3PM and then again @ 945 PM. Really weird, I've never heard of that area code before so I searched it. I didn't answer.

I just got call from this number, saying they were calling from Carlsbad, CA (I live in San DIego, 30 minutes south of Carlsbad) 701 is not that area code for Carlsbad. They were offering a vacation package, free airfare, blah, blah, blah. I kept pressing about how they got my phone number, I don't put my number on craigslist or any promotional sing ups, and my number is on the national do not call registry. they said i gave them my number through a promotion affiliated with HIlton Garden Inn, I have never stayed with HIlton since I work for a competitor and have better rates with my company. I kept asking for a supervisor and they apologized and put my on hold which disconnected a few moments later. Calling back is useless, as it will not connect to anything it just asks you to press 1 to be removed from their list.
