This number calls us everyday but it does not matter because we will never answer it. We are being harassed. - Carol R.Bowling Shumate| 1 replyThe caller sounded like he could have been a black man and claimed to be a polticial survey, but only wanted to speak to my husban Both of us are registered voters. I told the caller that although my husband works for a private company that he deals a lot with government contracts, does not wish to give out his opinion and really pretty much is "Hatched" ( in reference to the Hatch Act.) However, the caller was very insistent about trying to get back in touch with my husbnad. The Las Vegas calling address is interesting. My husband used to make annual Treks to Las Vegas in April to attend the Annaul NAB Convention which is held there each year in April, However, in-between Conventions, which my hsuband rarely missess, but missed this year because he was getting ready to go to Germany for business. I have been plagued by various gambling outfits trying to arrange Las Vegas vacation weekends and the like. My husband never goes to Vegas to gamble. However I have been plagued by the past 7 -8 years or so by one sleaze ball after another from Las Vegas all about trying to pressure me and my husband into coming to Vegas at other times of the year. I have tried repeatedly to explain to these jerks that we never go there for vacation. However, these fools have been so bad that I feel like trying to lobby the NAB to hold their annual convention somewhere else because the sleaze elements in the city just want to pester me to death calling my home phone number trying to speak to my husband or trying to sell to me or my husband or both of us a good time in LAS VEGAS. i AM REALLY TIRED OF IT! I sort of doubt that this last call had anything at all do do with a potlical survey also since apparently it originated in Las Vegas. HOW DOES ANYONE GET THESE SLAEZEBALLS TO STOP CALLING? I am sure that the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce would ot be particuarly appreciative in knowing that regular NAB Convention attendees are being pressured by Vegas crooks and flim-flam artists constantly. This sort of thing really isn't good for business or for attracting the NAB convention crowd which spends a lot of money annually in the city.
- Tamianth replies to Carol R.Bowling ShumateTechnically these outfits are trying to sell you goods or services, so they fall under the FTC & FCC..
The federal government is shut down though til ?? So these sites are not working presently. Keep a record of these calls in a notebook. (not all are legit anyway, some are, as you said, scammers) And any recorded messages. Next time you answer the phone (check the state laws on this, some require you inform them your recording, others don't) and tell them to stop calling while its recording. I believe that then also falls under the TCPA and you can sue them for all the harassing phone calls.. I usually follow through with that Do Not call order with a written DNC order sent certified via US mail. That way they can't say "we didn't hear or get it" ..

https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2 - ToddIt is a political survey dealing with local and state politics in Virginia.
But they do not include all of the candidates, they only care about the two major parties and do not include third party or independent candidates which means their data is screwed!
Blocking them now.- Call type: Survey
- fizzyReceived several calls from this number over several days. One was at almost 10:00 p.m. I informed them that even pollsters are not supposed to call after 9:00 p.m. They are doing a lengthy "poll"; however, it is really political propaganda for Bloomberg's group Mayors Against Gun Violence. They use outdated data on gun purchasing and outright false statements about political candidates who are pro 2nd amendment.

- FedUpThey are a public opinion survey company. I tried to give them my opinion on how I feel about repeated calls from this number all day every day and they hung up on me before I could finish.
But I followed up via their website contact page. http://precisionopinion.com/content/contact.html- Caller: National Research Public Opinion Surveys

- kaiser| 1 replyDO NOT ENTERTAIN THESE PEOPLE. SIMPLY CALL THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND GIVE THEM THEIR NUMBER. This is what the FTC want them to do. Tell them you are calling the FTC. The will get the message. No matter how many times they call, give them this message.
- DeletedMedia replies to kaiserYou can also post the criminals information right on the FTC, and FCC Facebook pages for many Consumers to read. The swindling non-compliant tele-scum hate that about as much as exposing them on youtube!

- maria replies to florida gulf coastEXACTLY, Could not have said this any better than you did! This number called a couple nights ago and did not say a thing - I was disgusted that one could not say "Sorry I have the wrong number" and I told them as much before they hung up. Last night they called and used a name to get me to think they got the right person - I said nothing. I try not to answer those calls either. I too am unlisted, so have tendency to forget to pay close attention. Guess, it's 'MY BAD' ??? !

- A SThe National Do Not Call list does not cover these types of calls - I am also on that list. I keep getting these calls and no one is on the line if I do answer and no voice message left. I called the number and a recorded message states that it's a political survey company and thus not subject to the Do Not Call list. After their recorded message stating this, the line hung up. No way to speak to a live person to be removed from their annoyance calls. GRRRRRRRRRR
