- Fedup14| 5 repliesWe had a timeshare and apparently they, in theory, got their info through having the timeshare. The company name is Elite Mini Vacations. Their # is now blocked. The guy asked if I thought I would be traveling to Las Vegas any time in the next 12 months . I said no, we are adopting and do not call our # again! Funny they will probably keep calling as this is the second time recently that I think this # has called but similar #s have come up on the caller ID. They are probably legit but it's probably another timeshare come on so be aware. He knew my first name and because I don't know anyone in Las Vegas I knew what it was before I picked up. Sometimes I think it's better to pick up and give them a chance to give their talk off and then tell them not to call back as the calls are probably recorded.
At any rate hopefully this info will help someone else. He did say something about a grand opening of a new hotel Lake something hotel in Las Vegas.- Caller: Elite Mini Vacations

Then offers to sell me a Las Vegas vacation package for a few hundred dollars if I give him my credit card info now. Ya, right. Looking for a sucker? Suck on this, buddy.

http://grammarist.com/usage/baloney-bologna/
Baloney vs. bologna
Bologna refers to a type of sausage made of finely ground meat that has been cooked and smoked. Baloney is nonsense. It is an early 20th-century American coinage derived from bologna. It may also be influenced by blarney, which in one of its definitions means nonsense or deceptive talk.
Our reference sources differ on whether baloney and bologna are homophones in English. Some say both should be pronounced “baloney,” while others say bologna should be pronounced like the Italian city, Bologna (“boloan-ya”), where the sausage originates. But everyone agrees that the two spellings have different meanings.
