- anonymousThe company calling is not VIP Services, its http://www.eliteminivacations.com/ in Las Vegas and has a C- rating with the BBB... they claim to be affiliated with the Hilton and RCI, but they are not.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- bobboGet calls almost every evening for the past couple weeks. I am going to report this nuisance to the Federal Trade Commision. Same agency that administers the do-not-call list.
I am on the do-not-call list so need to start documenting and reporting these calls in prep for my lawsuit against these callers. There is a $50,000 penalty for ignoring the list and I think these prepetrators are prime for winning a suit against.
Suggest you contact the FTC also. A few $50,000 loses and I'm thinking the calls will stop. - BirdiebillI have received several calls but no messages.
- Marcus| 2 repliesThis number and other numbers have called my land line as many as 15 times a day. They never leave a message and when I answered one of the calls to tell them to please stop disturbing me especially after 9:30 PM with calls and that calling 15 times in one day is harassment nobody answered the phone. Unlike my smart phone, I cannot block a land line and it has gotten to the point that legitimate people are attempting to call me and get a busy signal. This needs to stop! Is there really anything you can do about these types of calls? I doubt authorities would be able to do anything since technically I've never gotten the chance to ask them to stop calling me so they can just claim that I never told them that I don't want to be called especially after 9:30 PM or at 7 AM. Nor do I want to be called 15 times. Get the message if you call someone 15 times in one day most likely they either aren't home or are not answering these calls from you for a reason.
- Marcus replies to Marcus| 1 replyLet me add that this land line is on the Do Not Call registry.
- TFBeen calling my cell every few days. Judging by the other posts, this is just another of many scam calls that I get regularly but never answer.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jessicasiI told them to stop calling me and the rep hung up on me as soon as I got the "Please take me off of.." out, I'm guessing so he could say he never heard me. Sure enough they called back the next day. I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry, so I have filled a complaint.
- Caller: VIP Services in Vegas.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jessicasi replies to MarcusThe number they keep calling me on is on the Do Not Call Registry as well. You can file a complaint, which I have just done. Hopefully if enough people do, they will get shut down.

- Mike Gallegos| 4 repliesThis is not a scam, it is a promotional company in Las Vegas that promotes for hotels and casino's in Vegas. All of you should know that ANYTIME you travel you will forever be put on lists for company's such as this. Multiple lists. You tell them to take you off a list, but what you don't know is you are on multiple lists. So when they load another one, you will get another call. The reps have no desire to call you after you've said no, but they have no control over who they are calling. These people calling you are just trying to make a living. They don't mean to call you multiple times in a day. You are on a dialer. Grow up and realize that every second of your day you are hit with advertising. Say, no thank you, take me off the list and hang up. Or take the vacation, which is a good deal. They got me December. I was skeptical, but we booked our travel because they promised me an email within 48 hours. I knew with my credit card company that if I cancel something within 72 hours I would get refunded by my CC without questions asked. SO, if I didn't get my email I was going to cancel. I got my email. I went to Vegas January 26th and had a blast. We sat through the 60 minute audio video presentation, which I also assumed was going to be a big sales pitch, but it really wasn't. We watched 45 minutes of video, which was actually enjoyable believe it or not. The other 15 minutes was spent getting our free vacation, which of course, the whole time a sales man was telling me about the benefits of traveling with them. They want you to join a vacation club, which is why you are getting all these gifts. It's a new way to travel outside of timeshares and actually is a good concept. We plan to travel with them in the future as long as the bonus vacation (the round trip air fare for 2) turns out to be legit. We have a voucher so everything seems fine. We have 2 years to use it. For someone like myself that has been in sales forever and have seen many many less than truthful pitch's; These guys seem to spell things out. Now... I will say this, my salesman tried to skim past the 60 minute presentation as I'm sure he thought that would scare me away. I don't believe this is coached by the organization due to the fact that as soon as verification got on the phone they were more than forthcoming about it without me asking. I said I wasn't informed of this 60 minutes and she said that my rep shouldn't have mislead me like that. These sales reps can get desperate and mis rep. Always TALK TO A MANAGER. The manager there gave me full disclosure and apologized for the rep not disclosing what the 60 minutes entailed. She then told me that if I wanted to cancel the process right now she would understand because they have no desire to mislead anyone as they make their money off return travelers. I just have to make one comment about the person who said he wishes these people dead....really? Grow up people. Stop registering your phone numbers with time share companies and other travel companies and you won't have this problem. Me, I welcome the deals that come my way. Deep breath people.

- Why don't you replies to Mike Gallegosgrow up? If people are on the DNC list, they should NOT be receiving calls! People do tell these callers to stop calling/add them to their internal do not call list - and guess what? They still get calls from these telepests. We don't want to hear about your scammy sales spiel either. And if you've won something, you don't have to pay anything for it - otherwise how can you have won? You talk like the typical telepest - "Stop registering your phone numbers with time share companies and other travel companies and you won't have this problem." Newsflash, buster - people are still getting calls even when they haven't registered. Take your self-righteous, scammy butt elsewhere!
- Really? replies to Mike GallegosThat's really funny because I have traveled a lot and not once has any company called like this ever. Lets face it, your company is cold calling people and not abiding by the DNC at all.
- U.R.Fullofit replies to Mike Gallegos"You are on a dialer".
I thought robocalls to those on the DNC list (and have no dealings with this company) were illegal!! - Thomas replies to Fedup14Grand opening of the Linq hotel and casino. It is legit. No timeshare. Ceasers new property. I listened to the spiel. Didn't buy, but sounded like a good deal.
- Laura replies to Vanessa andersonSame thing happened to me but I was able to charge back my credit card and received a credit after about 5 debits and credits from Discover Card. You must stay on top of it because it took about 3 months. I should have known better than to be taken in by this fraudulent company. Never again!
- JR replies to Vanessa anderson| 1 replyIs there any way to recover our money!
