402-982-0819 an Omaha, NE number

Both times same thing:  I'm sorry wrong number"

I just got a call on my cell phone, which is also on the National Do Not Call list.  They called my home yesterday.  If we all file complaints at www.donotcall.gov and maybe they will do something about this.

08/12/09 @ 9:26 AM Seattle, WA on cell phone. Did not answer but do not recognize this number.

I got a call from the same 702 number this morning.  Did not answer and a VM was left with no message.

Annoyed, I just got a call from 702-705-5066 and I also got a call from 402-982-0819 last Saturday.  I'm also in Seattle.  I wonder what is up.  I didn't answer either.

Received call from 702-705-5066 this morning (8/12/09) and did not answer.

Never have received these types of calls before and sure hope it's not a start of a trend.

Same as everyone else... Sounds like some teenage or young adult male with music or something in the background appologizing about dialing a wrong number, then hangs up. I also got a call from the 402-982-0819 that people have mentioned, but no voicemail from that number. I am in Seattle as well.

ATTN: EVERYONE... PLEASE submit a complaint to the FTC; if anything, it will help document as to what's going on and if they receive enough complaints they will investigate this.  Thanks...

I have received three calls fitting this profile in the past two days. The first two were on an unlisted line that does not have caller ID. One this morning about 30 minutes ago was on my other line with caller ID, which read US NMA 702-705-5066. The voice on all three was the same and seemed intentionally distorted.

Second call I have received from this number. Didn't register until the second call.

I'm in the Snoqualmie Valley area.

Received 2 calls from this number 5 min apart this morning.  I was driving, so I didn't pick up.  No message left.  Thought I'd google the number out of curiosity to see if it was someone I knew and I find this!  WTF???!!!

At 9:26 Am on the 12 of August 2009 I missed the call for the number 702-705-5066 because I did not recognize the caller. The caller was smart enough not to leave a message (automated or otherwise). Since I am on the DNC list I find these callers to be irritating and it should be illegal to contact me regardless of their reasoning... I understand people needing jobs and telemarketing can be a rewarding job when done LEGALLY.

Thanks for the link, but the Complaint only works if you KNOW the COMPANY and or CALLER the number is coming from. If we knew the caller and/or the company we would recognize the number being called (talk about stupidity).

The call came in today @ 9:11am. I did not answer as the caller ID info not recognized. Caller left no voicemail message and hung-up. My tel number is not listed/published.
Per reverse look-up, this number is landline based in Las Vegas, NV and is unpublished.

I got it yesterday, too. Same general area. 360 area code

Got a call from the Number.  I am in the SF Bay Area.  


hmmm US NMA  Say it fast, sounds like Enemy.... hmmm....  But I am a paranoid.

It is most likely an automated Number harvesting network. This one is located in Las Vegas, but US MNA is probably a spoof.  Also, just because it ID‘s as a cell phone does not mean it is one!. The program generates numbers at random, so even being unlisted (like me) doesn’t keep them out.  If you pick up, it gives the “Wrong Number” message and then puts your number on a list to sell to every sleazy telemarketer and collections-fraud scammer out there.  Many of these are offshored so they can get away with ignoring the Do-not-call registry. If you get one on your caller ID, DO NOT pick up!  This is how they get you on their list. Report the number to the FTC. The pus-bags who stay up nights thinking up these con games deserve at least several years in the pen as Slashy the lifer’s [***]!

It showed up on my caller ID, no message left. I googled US NMA, US national medical association. The website has a virus or malware in it. Evil people. I reported it to the do not call registry. I find that is very useful for stopping annoying calls.

Gotten several calls from this number, I immediatley hang up on these jerks.Who are they? And why are they calling so many of us in Wa State?
