Faked caller ID. Called back busy all the time.

"air duct cleaning" in your area today. I wanted to make an appointment and they asked if tomorrow would be ok. I said sure, "I just need a number to be able to call you back"... she hung up.

This number came up as a "repeat" call on my Caller ID log.  An icon appears everytime I get repeat calls from a number.  But I don't have this number on my physical paper log that I keep as well.

The last call I got from Las Vegas was from (702) 291-2991, back in Oct 2012.  There was no message.  When I looked on this site, people said it was "carpet cleaning" or "air duct cleaning."  Why come to California to clean my carpet?  The Caller ID just said "Unknown Name."

That number must have been spoofed, as this one is now.

This time the ID said "Las Vegas, NV" which narrows it down a lot.  I did not answer and there was no message.

I get so many calls like this that I turned my ringer off.  Anyone legit will leave a legit message.  Another scam.  Sigh.  The Do Not Call list opened up a can of worms.  I now get calls from those companies who are "exempt", like charities, political campaigns, and survey/research companies.

They now have an entire database of numbers at their fingertips; the scammers have it too.

got the call at 4:15  today....I am on the do not call list.  I think my bank has
a list they are selling to telemarketing firms.  Or maybe its Time Warner who
is distributing my telephone number with name.

03/13/2013 1:30 PM. Caller ID said "Las Vegas, NV." The recording was from "Amanda" representing the "Air Duct Cleaning Company", offering to clean my air ducts for $29.95. I was told to press "1" to talk to a representyative or "8" to be taken off of their list. I pressed "8".

Husband and I figured it was yet another spoofed number which is why we hung up on them. We are on The Do Not Call list but seems these morons keep spoofing their number. Time to save up, then look for  a call blocking phone or device.

Jokes on them. I dont have any air ducts. But guys...really. The DNC list doesnt work for this kind of telemarketer. They dont follow the rules.

Just got the call. Didn't answer. No message.

First they called from 702-947-4575.  When that got no response from me, they tried this number.  What will they do next?  Aggravating morons.

Received one phone call from "LAS VEGAS NV" at 2:02pm in Southern California and they did not leave a message. I'm not aware of what they say because I didn't answer the phone. It's most likely a telemarketer.
This number called two minutes after a different telemarketing number called (at 2:00pm).
