THIS IS A SCAM.  Did not answer.  If you want to reach someone call 877-828-7254 and waste their time.  Dial *67 first to block your number.  So, *67-877-828-7254.  Tie up their line and waste their time.  They make calls from COMPUTER but when you call back they have to pay (if it is a true 877#).

A couple days ago I was called. With my voice the caller hang up very quickly.

So I asked myself: I'm on "do not call" is this [***]?!

Called 7 times in less than 15 minutes.  No messages left.

I had the same experience and these morons knew all my information and said they would charge me $300 for the next two months for some Debt consolidation company and claimed they got my information through discover. Now, I got to cancel all my cards they they have (that I know of). I have no clue how they claim to have gotten my information through discover. I called discover and they had no idea what I was talking about. These morons have another thing coming because I have identity protection so we will see how they collect money out of my accounts August 1 and September 1.

I work for a credit card company.  What these people do is find people who have credit cards with available purchase room, and then charge the credit card (between $500-$2000 a lot of times!) so that they can "help" you setup a hardship program to lower your interest rate/payment.  They coach you on what to say.  The problem is, they charge the credit card for their supposed "help", and if you really have a hardship a problem and need help paying your credit card you can set stuff like this up directly with the CC company and they wont charge you a PENNY.  Plus, if you go through a legitimate consumer counseling agency program (greenpath, novadebt, etc) they will also help you for FREE, and usually you'll get even LOWER interest rates than the credit card company, or this scammer would get you.  Plus, the CCA can give you free financial counseling with other stuff too.  The other problem with this company is they often lie and tell you that they ARE the credit card company so they can charge you.  It's a HUGE scam.

I am being harrassed by this "company" bc I technically used them and then they got really sketchy and I hung up. They called back and were rude and said they would sue me and take a lean on my house and stuff. Couple they do that or are they just scaring me into paying them.

Received a call from this telemarketing company.

Credit card refinance, robo-call. No less to a cell phone, so I get to pay for it.

Got a call on my cell this morning. Did not answer b/c I don't know anyone in NV.

Got a call from this unknown number.  They claimed that they could bring my interest rate down to 6%.  Knew it was a scam immediately, since my interest rate is currently 0.  Kept asking me for the last 12 digits of my credit card number.  Very aggressive.

Recd call on cell.  I pressed one to get an operator who only would tell me that the corporate headquarters was in Orlando Florida.  When I pressured him for the mailing address he hung up.

they were offering to reduce my credit card interest on accounts with banks that I have no credit cards with.

This call came through  on my cell phone and I'm on the do not call list!  I don't answer these calls as I don't know
who they are and don't have any late bills!!

Picked up my cell phone and an automated voice told me I had a limited time opportunity to lower the interest rate on my credit card to 6.5%.  Never stated what card company they were with.  Said I could press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to stop receiving calls.  I just hung up.

I noticed on a few of the earlier posts that people received a call on their google number.  My phone used to be connected to a google voice number but not anymore.  Is this the same with anyone else?

Phishing most likely. A recording tried to pretend they were my credit card company, and that this was the last time I could lower my interest rates.  When I hit 1 to see who it was/be transfered to an operator, an Indian woman went on some tangent about how they do stuff for Bank of America, Chase, etc., so I asked "So you're not my bank?", and they hung up. Had they not hung up, I would have anyways!

Robocall saying they were calling to offer the last chance for a lower interest rate on a credit card. Press one to talk to a representative or two to have them stop contacting.  Pressed one, woman with Indian accent said something I couldn't understand,  I said, "Why are you calling me?" And she hung up. Seems like a scam.

I received a call from this number while i was at work. Phone was on silent so i didnt answer. Saw the missed call, saw it was from Nevada so i decided to look up the number first! Been receiving these call a lot lately...

These people called my cell phone. I didnot answer the call.I looked the # up on the internet and saw it was some kind of company lowering your interest rate. Funny,I had just talked to one of my credit card people about lowering my interest rate the day before this call.Smell a RAT!!!!!!

I have all my phone #'s on DNC including the cell they just called on  How do we stop it?
