I've found complaints on this very web site about Tom and his merry band of telemarketers from over three years ago. These folks are a set up for the eventual pitch by a home security alarm dealer. The prerecorded, and live calls from "Tom" and his allies have to stop. These folks are thumbing their noses at accepted business conduct, all while pretending they're model citizens

In my case they called my wireless phone repeatedly, moved on to my unlisted home phone number, and then my Google Voice (GV) number. I do not provide my wireless or home number to anyone but family, routing everything through GV, so when my phone rings directly I'm confident it's a telemarketer (or the rare wrong number). I have found THOUSANDS of complaints about these calls on this and other sites and yet they continue. It's time to organize, share information, and put them out of business.

It took me a while to realize that "Tom" is a voice response computer. There is some debate as to whether a live person is listening to the call and pressing a computer key to respond, but the calls are still blatantly illegal. By playing along I've been connected with Dealers in Utah, California, and Rhode Island and have compiled a list of serious violations along the way.

Good work huck finn. These ongoing calls are seriously annoying. From the posted complaints online, maybe these jokers are working FROM the No Not Call list?

It doesn't matter whether or not I answer, nobody is on the phone.

Recording says I have won a General Electric home security system. After babbling on for some time the recording says to press 1 for a customer service rep who will give me more information. So I press 1 and wait till the rep starts talking and lay the phone down and let them talk to the desk. They don't seem to learn. This procedure has been going on for weeks now. I don't bother to ask them to take me off their calling list anymore. They just ignore my request. So I'll waste their time and it'll cost them a phone call. The Do Not Call list means nothing to them. One day I'll string them along and make as if I'm really interested in their pitch and feed them false information to waste their time even more. I don't care. I'm retired with time on my hands.

By the way, this same b/s is coming to my home phone from various other numbers.

These people need to be fined or arrested.

the fool gets upset when you ask him if it knows what the "do not call list is" and he says "yes".  Then you ask the moroon why does he call.  he is so far out of line and beyond the law.   no wonder he has this kind of job.  NOT  QUALIFIED for anything else.   what a moroon!!!!

Got my 1st call from this # (702-705-5262) at 6:25pm Tues 5/15/12 (but have gotten calls for same subjects listed in these posts before). This being evening mealtime was sooo nice NOT!! It rang only 2-3 times, but hung up before ans mach kicked on. Wasn't gonna ans anyway as if a day goes by that we don't get at least one of these type calls we almost feel neglected! HA! Not really, but like everyone else on these posts, we are SICK & TIRED to say the least of these calls. Am SURE they go to the DNC lists to get #s they haven't already got. Also use auto dialing I'm guessing.

At any rate the calls are blank if answered via person OR ans mach. To them our time is not as important as theirs is! STUPID Government doesn't care about stopping this or they would have done something by now.

Sick of 702-705-5262 calling and leaving no message.

These [***] phoned again. Unfortunately I was out and they didn't leave a message this time.  My caller ID was flashing. I'm waiting for them to phone again while I'm in. It'll be the same old pitch about a security system. So I'll make like a real interested victim.....er potential client and, string them along for as long as I can. I'll do it every time since they refuse to stop calling.

On the many times they have left a message on my answering machine, they told me about their wonderful security system which I have WON! Their message implies that they are as important as doctors and nurses in my life and I REALLY do need them! Yeah right! They only need my credit card number. That's all.

Computer called at first said do not hang up. I didn't eventually talked to "Michael". He said he works for Fabetz Distribution in Nevada. They are selling GE home security systems. I told him was filing a complaint with the FTC because I am on the Do Not Call Registry. He hung up like the scum bag he is. I am reporting them. They call all the time.

my phone rang I answered, no sound no talking, but yhe call held on for apporox 30-40 seconds and then went to diaj tone

Caller hung up but with my report & each of yours, I'mm be reporting this caller.

I put all these kind of numbers in my selective call blocking list which Time Warner provides as a feature with my home phone service. From then on they never get through and get a recording that calls from their number are not accepted at my number. It has cut way down on the calls I get.

i just got a call and they did not leave a message on my recorder
