Called and left an automated message, no call back information. I called the number back, busy signal. Caller ID said UCI.

Recorded call, identified themselves as United Consumers. Caller ID said UCI. Seemed to be an attempt to intimidate by making it sound like by letting the message play the recipient acknowledges being the named party -- which we are not! Smells like debt collection scam.

Called my cell phone... didn't respond when I answered.. and hung up after a few seconds without saying anything.  Hard to figure out what they thought they were accomplishing

They wanted to talk to my husband it was some kind of recording but did not say for what I tried to talk to some one I just told me to call a 1800 number it was buzzy

have received a "partial" message twice...all I hear is our last name with a number to select, never hear 1 st name on recording.  tried to call back several times...keep getting busy signal.

Definitely a debt collection scam. They call me about once a week and always ask for someone different. I guess they think that we are all as big of a moron as they are.  They are always nice enough to let you know they are not telemarketers.

Is there one huge telemarket/Spam center in India that hires the starving billions to harass the American public?

If these lowlifes are leaving VM messages that don't identify themselves nor the reason they are calling, if in fact they are debt collectors, this kind of tactic is illegal.  If they do leave this kind of sketchy voice mail message, save it and report it to your State's Attorney General's office.  Not that it will ever stop these criminals from their scare tactics, but at least legal officials will be aware of them and the numbers that they're calling from.  If nothing else, it will help to keep these [***] running.  It's just a shame that the FCC is powerless to do anything about it...except to take our tax dollars without having to provide any service in return!!
