Called my cell. Didn't answer, no message left

Courtesy of an arkansas company, privacystar, this company has been entered into a law enforcement database as of 11-25-13 at 11:19a.m.  This company is "Lower Interest" makes illegal calls and is purporting any kind of scam to get their hands on your bank information.  This company is not legitimate, is a scam, number is created and operated by a criminal element who violate not only the do not call list but make pre-recorded calls to cell phones.  

That is not helpful in and of itself. It is helpful to report the information so that people will know who criminals are, these people are criminals and by these posts, people know to avoid their calls, also, it is helpful to enter them into a criminal database as well as this site, report them for do not call violations.  I have an app that sends very detailed information about the caller to law enforcement.  Law enforcement believe it or not is getting much better an enforcing these violations.  At one business in this city a bomb threat was called into a business via a skype call.  The call was traced to a computer and the caller was arrested within hours if not minutes.

Received call. No message left.

Called my cell two times, no message left. Stop calling my cell.

Called my cell - left no mssg.  Don't know how they got my cell no.

Called my wife at her cell and then called me an hour later. No message left

Telemarketing robocall about mortgage refinancing, may be a phishing scam since they did not identify the name of their company, called my personal cell phone, probably from a fake number.

Left voicemail wanting to restructure home mortgage.  Not a refinance but a restructure.  No contact number was left.

Same Herr. Reversed looked up.Citibank branch in Va fax number. Rogue calling by machinenaged by xerox. Bank apologized and removed my #.

Rogue xerox fax number from cities bank branch in Va. Called branch. Others had called. Had branch remove number and contact xerox.

I pressed 1 to talk to agent. When he came on I blew and air horn into the phone and yelled for him to go [***] himself.

1:05 p.m.--Received robo call from this number which traces back to:

The robo call consisted of a recorded message which infers that it is from a government program to help people with mortgages improve their mortgage rates.

This is not the first robo call received from this number.

Called 877/357-3399 and spoke to "Jim" (located in KY); he put me in contact with "Mazin" in the physical location of Citibank, S. Washington St., Alexandria, VA.

Per Mazin, this robo call IS NOT from Citibank; Citibank does not have a subsidiary, Real Estate Mortgage Services with locations in Newport Beach, CA, or Virginia.

He said Citibank is contacting Verizon (their phone carrier) to investigate.

I just received the same call on my cell phone.

Received a automated message saying "important message for you concerning mortgage"
and what Obama did ? I hung up quickly!

Rcvd call from this number; no message

I believe it's a sales call. They call to tell you that (automated by the way) your credit card has an issue, then press #1 and a sales rep gets on line and starts to sell you another credit card.  Mainly Bank of America.

Called my number, I answered and they never said a word, then hung up on me.

Calling about Past due mortgages!!! I dont even have an account with this back....and when you press zero to speak to an operator the call ends....And when you call back you just hear a beeping or busy sound!!!......

I just received a call from this number today (12/5/2013) at 10:18 AM.  I called CitiBank Alexandria and they confirmed that it is their fax number and that they will take my number out of their system.  I received several calls last week from the number.
