This number Just hung up

Constantly calls with no answer.

A person called my cel phone from this number. Asked for a specific name. Asked if I was this person. I said "Who is this?" She said so-and-so from NCC. I said "NCC? I never heard of that company, sorry, not interested." and hung up.

I keep getting calls from 703-763-4576 - I believe these are automated ... they never leave a message.

I get calls from 703-763-4576 almost every other day.  How can we make them stop?

Harassing calls from them starting early in the morning.

These yahoos just called my CELL phone.  Left no message.  Enjoy being blocked!

Got a call and they left no message. I accident pasted the number in the sending section of iMessage. The number turned blue indicating it's an iPhone. I don't think they are legit.

I received a message today from 703-763-4712 (12/18/2014) and I answered just to see who it was and it looked like maybe a debt collector and I have an outstanding medical bill but have been working with clinic and was told they could not turn it in, but was not too certain that it would not get turned in.  It was a Debt Collector calling for someone I have not heard of.  I told the lady that there was no one at this number by that name, only two ladies.  She started to argue that I was hiding this individual.  turns out this collection came through a court system with my telephone number and address attached by the person they are looking for.  I checked the city directories clear back to when my apartment building was built in the 1980s and no one by that name had ever lived at this address or on the property in one of the other 6 buildings.  Then I happened to notice when I finally got around to reading Sunday's newspaper that the person they are looking for works at the animal humane society and drives in from a small community in the county.  So evidently someone decided the only way to get out of his debt was to use someone that he picked out of phone book.  But that doesn't ring true either as my address was removed from phone book maybe 3 years ago.  Anyway, someone is using my information to not have to pay bills.  But just ran his name through search engine and he filed for bankruptcy last Friday.  So maybe the calls will stop soon.  One can hope anyway.  But maybe one needs to find out on some of the weird telephone calls we randomly get at an annoyingly rapid succession every week, if someone is using our phone and address for no good.  And believe me the different people that have called for this individual have been pretty horrible and harassing and one time they really made my elderly parent cry till I came home and yelled at them and told them to send the sheriff out to look in my apartment for evidence of a man.  That shut them up.

I get collection calls for my son who has not lived here for almost 20 years.  HELLO.....what is the first clue.  Scammers..... How is it the government knows every phone, email, text and so on and they cannot, or will not, stop these calls.  Thanks to caller id we do not answer them.  Last one I answered I just wanted to crawl through the phone and wring his neck.

I get these calls every day and when my answering machine kicks in you can hear the rude slam hangup from their end. They never leave a message. I finally got caller ID and the number that came across was Woodbrigde VA. 703-763-4576. They start the calls about 8:15am and every couple hours apart through out the day. Same thing machine kicks on and they slam down their reciever.

Its a debt collector they looking for someone

I get a call from the about every other day. I've been ignoring it lately but, for fun I recently started answering with "go ahead caller, you're on the air!" and they hung up. I still get a call every once in awhile but, if they are going to try to annoy me, the very least I can do is try make some fun of it..haha

It says "NCC Business Se" on the caller ID, and if you Google the phone number, it is for NCC Business Services of America, Inc., based in Jacksonville, FL.  The website looks legit.

They started calling frequently, although not every day.  I answered the phone three times.  Each time, they sounded like they were calling from a phone bank.  They said they were calling from Fairfax County, VA (where I live) and could I give them the last four digits of my SSN before continuing.  I said, "no" and asked them what they were calling about.  They would not say unless I gave them the last four digits of my SSN.  One of them said it was an "urgent" matter or something.  The third time, the lady said she was calling on behalf of Fairfax County about a parking ticket, and could I give her the last four digits of my SSN.  I said "no" again.

I got a parking ticket over the summer, which I paid.  I know of no outstanding debt to Fairfax County or anyone else.

I did have an actual collection agency call me a while back regarding another matter, and this is not how they operate.  They do not require information from you, and certainly not up front before continuing.  They already have detailed information about your account in their files and do not need to get it from you.

They *may not* be a scam, but it sounds like, from what others have said, that their records are out of date or inaccurate.  And, their business practices are very stupid -- many, many people are not going to continue the call after being asked for their SSN!

It *is* possible that it is a scam.  Others have posted here that NCC asked for their birth date.  This sounds very suspicious indeed!

Today, after receiving the last call, I called the number twice, each time telling the guy that I needed to have his SSN before continuing, which of course he did not.  Got the same guy twice.  He sounded exhausted and downtrodden.  I might just go do it again!

I just talked to my husband about this, and he very much doubts that this is legitimate.  They can use the last four digits of your SSN (or your birth date) to "authenticate" themselves to gain access to your accounts

Answered, it obviously took a second to connect operator. She said she had to discuss a matter involving a third party but needed info first. I told her to tell me the matter and I might. She said she needed info first. Told her I don't play that game and hung up.

They are calling about an outstanding medical bill. They do not pressure you to pay it today. They encouraged me to contact the facility to ensure the bill was first run through the insurance.  Once you confirm the bill, they allow you to set up a payment plan to take care of it.  Very nice and helpful representative.
