Called claiming that they were collecting for Verizon. I've never had a Verizon account in my name. Said they wouldn't give me any info without the last 4 of my social security number. They had an address for me that I haven't lived at for 10yrs. BS if you ask me!

i live with an abusive family that continually tells me i have a call when there is no call - or leaves a number which is fake - ie, joke or harassment numbers (when 800notes is checked for what # is)

this number was left by them and i beleive it to be from abusive stalkers like them possible connected to them

i DO NOT believe it is a legitimate creditor nor that there is any legitimate debt (i know there isnt)

i beleive it is a criminal organization with ties to employees in fairfax county government, VA - who use simpletons who beleive anything any authority (ie, anyone claiming to have authority over them)

if like me you already told these poeple not to call and that a lawsuit was pending and to see you in court - do not answer anything but a lawsuit served at the door

they keep calling depsite that -  part of how i can surmise the calls are of a criminal nature

the calls are purely of a harassing nature

they insist you owe money.  i know for a fact they owe me a hellish ammount of money.  and these continual harassing calls are just brainwash for any simpleton who would beleive it

they are trying to brain wash you into beleiving they are higher than you and you owe them by continually posing as creditors collecting.  it's totally false and fraudulent

NEVER talkk to or pay these phone calls. insist on a process served and a court hearing

TYPE OF CALL IS CON-MAN and CRIMINAL - not unkown here in fairfax

infact the news here continually advertises that people are being sent fake government debt letters but that there is nothing the county can do.  the criminal are the county workers i'm sure of it.

Saw a missed call from this # (703-763-4576), this past Feb, but no msg was left. The # called again last month, but instead of leaving a msg on my voicemail, all I could hear was what sounded like a TV in the background and heavy breathing from the person that called....then they hung up. Creepy!!!

are CRIMINALS.  call the police on these people.

i was left a few notes of calls.  3 different numbes ALL were from "P/C" "NCC".  an abusive family member had left the notes no less

if a debt collector it's FRAUD.  the state/county Virginia/Fairfax tried to sue me, simply to fleece me for money and debt, and lost.  they then began sending bills and making calls (also threats by email and legal threats) even though they first lost THEN skipped court on me when i counter sued them for quite a bit of money - some of which they owe flat out.

furthermore i told them the people who said i owed debt skipped court and it was NOT any purchase i made or signed my name to at ALL.

is probably criminals and illegal aliens in DC, MD and have nothing to do with any legitimate government or debt collection agency

    DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.

    Some Tips:
    *Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time, date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

Total [***], a delay and collect tactic posted by NCC with respect to the fraud claim above.

Law requires you dispute (mail/contact) the ORIGINAL party who filed the debt BEFORE it goes to a collector within 30 days of original bill (which MUST be FULLY itemized) at time of billing.  They have 30 days to respond after which you can report THEM to your bank and or trusted well known FICO score agencies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.  If the billing party does respond they will indicate a lawsuit or settlement (or skipping town to another state) based upon your complaint.

Never beleive ANYTHING a collector tells you online or by phone.  Seek legal advice*

Law requires you dispute (mail/contact) the ORIGINAL party who filed the debt BEFORE it goes to a collector.

A true (ie, adjudicated, or spent by debtor) debt is not necessarily negotiable - though collectors can buy debt at a low price in hopes of collecting more than the purchase price.  However that does not mean every debt call you get is not A FRAUD.  Easily a company can have illegitimate on their books and call you for billing.  Furthermore today's claimants are more frequently people who have been getting "special access" who deserve no more special treatments than they have already gotten even were the debt true: this includes government and also companies which were purchased by government and then quietly privatized for a quick profit.  NEVER pay these people - they have run up a $9 trillion dollar bill and are trying to collect from simpletons who believe anyone who calls themselves "an authority" or "an banker".

Never beleive ANYTHING a collector tells you online or by phone.  Seek legal advice.  But today's lawyers are trained to [***] you over rather than protect you by (ie Harvard) keep that in mind.  They teach criminal behavior at the schools too.  Do you want proof.  I can cite them up on un-Constitutional and wreckless "police state" behaviors all day infact.

My last state att. general skipped court on me - and so did the county attourney gen.  On what notices?  On false prosecution and debt to ME.  When faced with actual debts these people cause an individual directly: they skip court.

Ken Cuccionelli?  Preceeding election time he ran for governor/offices in, he advertised to counties he had "Virginia Courts Victim Funds" in escrow he was willing to tranfer to county cops to pad there pensions (to persuade them to vote for him, setting up a "police state").

The problem?  Victim funds are for victims quite obviously: Ken Cuccionelli is a criminal unless some explanation.  Victim funds are for dealing with poor people who've been the victims of crimes and cannot support themselves and need immediate funds.  Infact some awards of money by courts were made illegal by the USSC because many county judges were abusing the trust and privelage of court awards.  That's right you cant trust today's judges worth a crap.

Don't except bills, or any crap, from people who would rob victims of victim funds.  From people who would falsely prosecute you at the drop of a hat to force you into debt (debt THEY INFACT caused and are trying to avoid).

Real debt collectors buy legitimate (ie, store purchase) debt at a maybe %10 of the value and try to collect as much as they think they can recover.

They price they pay depends on the factors such as the likelyhood of recovery.

Real debt collectors do not have ILLEGITIMATE DEBT on their books and have DC illegals continually harassing you for debt you dont owe.  Real debt collectors would be afraid of being sued and jailed for running such a practice.

NCC says it's nation wide but infact they run "more locally" than their name suggests - ie, how debt gets on books and "who they work with".  What can you expect from a fraudulent firm, even the name is somewhat of a flim flam.

If your wondering I've studied law and also: had a close friend talk frequently about his job at a debt colllecting agency.  This was at a time when collectors were not illegals from other countries and collectors were actually afraid of being sued.  He frequently spoke of what rules they had to follow.  And i did some looking into that just out of interest.

The are a "debt collector" trying to collect a debt I had with my (idiot) college boyfriend over 18 years ago. The card had a limit of $300 and they're trying to say it was $3000. Sent cease and desist letter because the statute of limitations on this debt expired 3 times over. I'll be reporting them now. They're in violation of FCRA and they can pay some fines for their harassment. These people are scum, trying to collect debts that no one would have a legal record of anymore even if it had been paid.
