Kathy called 3 times on my home & cell. I'm on the do not call list & am upset she is constantly calling still.

Calls on my cell phone, late at night.    It is a contacting service for carpet cleaning companies.  I asked not to be called and they have not honored it.

I get calls all the time from "Cathy at the carpet cleaning company", saying I was a past customer.  I don't even have carpets in my home.  Wish this [***] would stop calling!

I did not answer this call, but I have enhanced caller ID that grabbed a name of H LEVINE with the number of 7037634655. Has anyone else gotten this?

Cathy at the carpet cleaning company. Says I'm a repeat customer but am not . Have requested many times to not call me but now not only my home number but my cell phone also! She sounds really creepy. I didn't know computers could emulate old women. Very annoying, how do we stop it? What kind of "scam" sells carpet cleaning anyway? Must be something else going on.

if you call and leave a message saying please take my # of your call list, they will then call you every 15 min as it is happening to me know.

These people will not stop calling. At least 15 phone calls over last month. 703-763-4665. Tried to opt out but they ignore the do not call request.

I made the mistake of calling them back to ask to be removed from the list and now they call me DAILY.   Don't let them know they have reached a live person or they will call more often.  It's infuriating.

I got a call, wasn't in my cellphone's address book, so I didn't answer.

If you answer "unknown numbers," the telemarketing scammers add your phone number to a list of people "that answer unknown numbers."  So don't answer unknown numbers.  If it's legit, they'll leave you a voicemail, and there's always time to add someone to your cellphone's address book, and answer them when they call thereafter.

Yes, the Do Not Call List has become worthless.

Telemarketing scammers use the internet's VOIP technology to "spoof" their phone numbers, which means they can get your Caller I.D. to display anything they want, from inactive phone numbers to FBI Headquarters (great for scamming).  For that matter, if they're using the internet to place phone calls, they don't even have phone numbers.

Do Not Call List was good while it lasted. Waste of time today.

Best hope is for the phone company to start blocking calls from spoofed phone numbers.

In summary, telemarketing scammer phone numbers displayed on your Caller I.D. is universally spoofed and useless for reporting to The List, the FCC, the FTC, or anything, except for 800notes.com; thanks.
