Got two calls from this number.  Person spoke horrible English, probably Indian and said she was from the Tax Crime division of IRS.  She left a message to call back or the police will arrive.  Since I have been doing accounting for 35 years I knew this was a scam and they probably wanted my personal information.  When I called back to tell them I was reporting them,  there was no ring tone!  I called twice, and, no ring tone!!

The IRS has a website devoted to fraud.  The FCC will also take a complaint.  I got the same calls and placed a complaint on both sites.  It was simple to do.

Had a call from a woman - Karen Miller.  Badge # 08860.  Also from a guy when I called back named Alex Ferguson.  They referred me to their supervisor named Robert Matthews.  Among all the things that everyone else has mentioned, they said if I told a 3rd party about this they could put me in jail for 6 years without parole or bail.  They even mentioned some government law that referenced this.  Unbelievable. These people are terrible liars and scam artists.  I'm sad for the ones who have fallen prey.  When I told "Robert Matthews" that I was going to report him to the FCC, he dared me to and then asked why I hadn't called Washington D.C. already.  I told him I would as soon as I hung up.  I made a complaint on the FCC website as well as the IRS website for this scam.
